I'm not a model, I just play one on TV
This week set the models in motion as the teach and challenge was all about acting. As their Tyra Mail hinted, the girls were brought to flex their acting chops and add movement to their modeling. A teach with Paulina had them shouting out phrases with different emotions -- and Paulina was none-too impressed with any of them. But then came the challenge!
While waiting in a theater for their teach to begin, Paulina told the girls they would not be doing their acting challenge alone. Their surprise partner would be none other than Clay Aiken himself, making all the girls react just like any true Clay-mate would. London pulled through and won the challenge, while Allison couldn't push past her awkwardness and Tahlia couldn't push past her meekness.
It was no surprise that instead of a photoshoot, the girls shot their CoverGirl commercials this week. The acting had all of the ladies a little nervous, and upon reviewing their commercials, the judges weren't thrilled with anyone's finished product. Celia's was deemed the least terrible and she climbed back to the top after last week's stint in the bottom two.
Teyona needs to work on making her very photogenic self more telegenic, Aminat needs to work on her pronunciation and Natalie needs a bit more personality -- but it was Allison and Tahlia in the bottom two this week. Called out for wearing the same look to judging twice and for failing to deliver a new "look" is why Allison was on the chopping block but it was Tahlia's sweet, meek demeanor that ultimately sent her packing.
We applaud Tahlia's bravery for being the first burn-survivor to grace the pack and agree with her final statement that no matter what, she's a role model to somebody.
One down, seven to go.
