tyra im from trinidad i lived in the u.s for tow years befor my father gave up on me and send me back. Iv been through it all fom sexual abuse to physical abuse and im still going strong you give me inspration i try to watch your show every day and i realize how hard it is to face the reality of my life and still be ferce. Im 19 and would love to give my dilima on your show that may be imposible but ill still try.I hardly ever check my e mail but hit me up on your show i will be watching. nuff love . Melica

So first of all I am a fan of your show Tyra but I agree with the last comment written by Kenya..Why don't you talk about the religious p.o.v. of gays and lesbians and transformers, or transgenders whatever they want to call themselves. If anyone knows what the Bible says you will know God dose not want man and man or woman and woman and specially not to change from a born male to a female...like what is that about? God make Adam & Eve, not Adam & Steve! When it comes to hearing you got some award from these people I don't care nothing about it and like I said read your Bible and it will make sense to you.

Tyra I think its horrible that you support gays and transgender. Like your show I was watching today about Isis the model that was on your other show, and how your helping HIM change his sex. The other model on there is soooo right that having a sex change is saying that God made a mistake, regardless on how he feels...You need prayer as well as Isis, I feel sorry for your Soul I gurantee you will be punished for helping this happen...Im disguested

Tyra, Many say that the world we live in has come along way over the decades but the truth of the matter is that we are still so far behind. Racism is still alive and practiced today and so is discrimination against the gay community. The African American community has spent decades fighting for equal rights and look how long it took for us to finally get a black president. I'm sure it'll take that long for gays to legally marry in our "free" country. Thank you for being strong enough to talk about the hard issues... it's people like you that will eventually turn this world around! You are much appreciated!

tyra you are such a great person and i love you soooooooooo much and i watch all your TOP MODEL shows.

hey tyra! i wanted to say thanks for being such a supporter for the gay community. It really made me feel better about who i am when i saw that some people just don't care if you are gay. You helped me accepted myself with who i am and now i can walk the streets with my head held high now. I just wanted to thank you for letting me believe in myself once again! You are truly my hero! love Natalie

hey tyra! oh my gosh! im in love! dont get scared though lol...im talking about JUAN ur discovered male model..i just really got to tell u, that as soon as i watched that episode i was sooo surprised of how well i could relate to him! i am a 20 year old hispanic just like juan that has struggled with my parents health and also work at a restaurant just like he used to..As i was watching the show i just felt like he was so laidback and down to earth..i would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to meet him but i would be excited also if i could have a simple convo with him...and of course i absolutely adore u tyra..ur just so real and awesome..i didnt want to start my comment by saying how much of a fan i am and how much i just love ur show cuz by now i know its gotta be old reading the same thing over and over but i guess this is long enough PLEASE consider me!

Tyra! Do shows about gay suicide or gay monogamy relationship! This will expose more about the gay community. By the way, congratulation Tyra. I love your show your attitude and your analytic thinking and careful judgement. Even though, there's time you having a hard time delivering something, don't give up! You're Tyra.

No question, Tyra deserved this award! Tyra stands by the LGBT cause as much as Ellen or Rosie. How wonderful for the LGBT to have such powerful alliances! Perhaps her background in the fashion industry has afforded her this openness and awareness many straight people in this country lack? Understanding and respect are so BEAUTIFUL.
