Just like your bod, it's time to get your place in summer shape.

We must all think that extra junk around us in the winter keeps us warm, because for some reason we all end up with a catastrophic amount of clutter come spring. The last thing anyone wants to be doing once the temperature finally starts to rise is be stuck inside sifting through mountains of mess.

Use these tips to spend less time spring-cleaning and more time enjoying the sun.

Easy Does It
Instead of trying to get it all done quickly, start tossing things you know you can live without. Broken jewelry, ripped clothing...your prom dress from 1995 -- it's time to let them go. Once you start the thinning out process, you'll see that it's easy to keep the flow going.

Bye Bye, Bad Vibes
The best logic to use when combing through the attic storage and basement boxes is if the item is tied to a negative memory -- lose it. Why keep dredging up unhappiness when it's only taking up space.

Paper Pushing
The worst offender of an area is usually the office. Oh, the office -- the great paper sucker of your entire home. Start simple -- go through all the items that are crowding your desk or other surfaces. You'll be able to organize your papers into categories and probably recycle tons of junk. Doing it this way will help you organize your filing cabinets into sections and keep your desk clutter free.

Hey Tyra, I love to watch your show. When I get the time and chance to. My husband and I moved to NY in October 2008 with our 3 month old daughter at the time. He is on his first deployment for the US Army and will be gone for 12 months or so. Since he has been gone, I feel I am hitting a "breaking point". I sometimes will get anxiety attacks or problems. I feel I am messing up everything. My neighbors make me miss my husband more and more each day. I usually keep to myself until lately. Lately, I have been spending time with his cousins more than anyone. We don't live on base. We live close to his family in our apartment in Western NY. I don't have any of MY relatives here. I sometimes worry my husband because I don't really talk to anyone. I try talking to his family; but, it sometimes feels odd. This is the first time we have been away from one another this long. The only thing that keeps me going is our daughter, Charlie; now, 9 months, as well as the love I share and have for my husband. Are there other women and men out there that made the decision I did to not live on base but close to their families?

hey trya, i watch you now an then, but my daughter is the one,16 thanks for the positive things you do for the teens, an they are todays problems,BUT i am writing about MODLES, i would like to say im 40 ish an have no interest in a skinny women, like what the tv promotes today, not you though, i belive most men are that way too, but just dont want to say it, give me a woman that has some meat on her bones, some junk in her trunk, you kow what i mean, being skinny, or too skinny is not what most men want today, full fighred, not reall over weight, but just a normal woman with curves, that make her look the way GOD wanted them,i bet you could prove that on your show, have a contest with real men not kids, an well show you what men think is really attractive, thanks GOD bless you bill

I love the Tyra Show. I mean i love love love it. But I noticed that the show has a tendency to focus on overweight women either if they are trying to gain or lose their weight. I am 17 years old and this is coming from a personal problem but what about the girls/women who aren't classified as anorexic and don't have eating disorders but find it very to difficult to gain weight? That is a growing problem also with makes and females. I just thought that would be an interesting show topic
