You have all that junk lying around, might as well do something with it!
A closet cleaning frenzy is to be expected from most people as spring rolls around, and as a result the heaps and piles of discarded items will raise roof-high and fast. It can be tempting to just bag it all up and kick it to the curb, but you could be throwing out bags of gold! Here's how to cash in on your trash.
Sell Your Wares
Just because you've had enough plays of your Tekken 2 game, doesn't mean that someone else isn't interested in a turn. GameStop sells new video games and consoles as well as old ones. It might not be much, but the money you can get for trading in your old games is better than the zero dollars you'll get for tossing it out.
EBay All the Way
Those old baseball cards might have seen better days and while they might not be worth as much as a pristine version, you'd be surprised to see how much bang you can get for the buck you paid for them. Use sites like eBay or Craigslist and just see how much you can get for your old "junk."
Donate is Great
Okay so this one might not have a big payoff right away, but the more you donate now -- the more you can write off in your taxes later. Clothes and lamps might not show you the money, but pricey electronics will!
