Tyra's Glam Squad are the fiercest in the business. Yaniece dresses Tyra to the T; Oscar knows how to give Tyra bouncy curls and Valente always makes her eyes pop.

The Glam Squad gave 4 deserving women the chance of a lifetime to be models for a day with out-of-this-world makeovers.

Now they're dishing out some of their beauty and fashion secrets just for you!

Yaniece Thomas, Wardrobe Stylist
We all know that times are tough right now, which can make shopping for the latest fashion trends a bit difficult. Check out the thrift stores in your area. That is a great way to find clothes you will love, keep your wardrobe looking new and fresh, and you'll also be putting money back into the economy!

Another thing I love to do with my friends is have a monthly Diva Swap. These are my all time fave. Each month we all get together at someone's house and have a themed party. Everyone brings some of their gently worn garments and get "Diva Dollars" at the beginning of the night. Then we have a bunch of food and drinks and start bidding on the clothes we want. By the end of the night we've all had a ton of fun and walk away with new clothes and you don't have to spend a dime! It's a fun night with the girls and kills the shopping urge!

Oscar James, Hair Stylist
The way to get curls like Tyra is to start with blow dried hair. Take 1-inch sections of hair and spray it with a light holding spray. Twist hair around a quarter size curling iron and hold for a few seconds. Use a small iron for tight curls and a larger iron for softer waves and curls; the larger the iron, the looser the wave. Pull the end of the section through the curling to finish the ends. For a more tousled and fuller look curl one row to the left and the next to the right and keep alternating. This keeps the curls from clumping together and makes the curls sit on top of one another and makes the hair appear fuller.

Are you tired of seeing girls with clumpy glue on their false lashes? Well, here's a simple tip to make your falsies appear seamless and flawless. First chose glue that's made for use on the eyes, not glue for weaves! Weave glue should stay reserved for your head ladies. Weave glue is much stronger, but can permanently damage your lash bed, inhibit lash growth, and rip the lashes you do have out! Duo Lash Glue is a perfect product to consider. It is a latex formula that is gentle for the eyes. This product comes in two shades, black and white. I use the black glue on Tyra.

Once you've taken the false lashes out of the cart, take the head of a bobby pin and apply a small dab of glue to it. Gently apply the glue to the band (the part that fits on the eye) of the false lash. Repeat this step once more to assure that you have a sufficient amount of glue to adhere to your lash line. The key is not to use too much so you don't get that clumpy gluey look. Wait a minute for the glue on the lash band to become a little tacky and then apply the false lash to your lash bed (the base of the lashes).

To help you see where you are putting the false lash, try squinting the eye you are applying the lash to, keeping it slightly open. Tyra does this with her eyes all the time when I'm applying her lashes.

Make sure before you glue the lashes on that they are not too long or too short. Hold the false lash up to your eye to measure it. If it's too long, snip a small piece off the end. For an even, more believable lash, try a false lash that's not too long and unnatural looking. Also try cutting the false lash in half. Apply the half lash to the end of your lash bed. Mascara is the final touch that seals the deal. It helps to blend your natural lashes together with the falsies for a final flawless finish.

Finally, these are three make-up must-haves I recommend!

  • Makeup Forever Face and Body Foundation

  • L'Oréal Paris' Double Extend Mascara

  • Iman Cosmetic's Afterglow Bronzing Powder

Hey there Tyra. I just got finished watching your 'Model for a Day' episode and absolutely loved it. I heard you say that if we thought that we would like one of these makeovers, that we should come here on your site and express why we think we should, and that's why I'm here. I know there are plenty of other girls in this world that deserve this more than me; girls who have done so many wonderful things for all of the people of the world, girls who have given their whole hearts to help other people. I realize that many other girls in this world have nothing and yet all they do is give and give. I am so impressed by these girls and love their drive and generosity. And by myself posting this, I am not saying I deserve this more than anyone else, at all. I am saying that this would be the opportunity of a life time if I was allowed to come on your show and be made pretty. The reason I want to have a model makeover is because I do not believe that I am pretty. I am fourteen years old and not one guy has called me pretty, not even cute. I know this sounds like a sob story, but I feel terrible. I have barely any confidence and I feel that if I was given a chance to get a makeover, I would gain self-confidence. I have very low self-esteem and feel that a makeover would help me out GREATLY. I realize and accept that there are many other girls that deserve this Tyra, and I do NOT expect you to call me up and say "Omigosh, you get to come on my show!” That is the least thing I

Hey Tyra:) I watched your episode today about the fantasy makeover and I have been watching your show everyday for about a year. I am a senior in High school and I have early release and I get out at 12:55 and I am always racing to get home by one to watch your show. I would love to have a fantasy makeover. I am so fasinated with the asian/oriental style it just seems like it have surrounded me for a while. Several years before my grandpa passed away he went to china and he brought me back this beautiful dress I doubt I could fit in it now but it is really speacial to me. In fact the day I turned 18 I got a huge cherry blossom tattoed down my ribs. Also my boyfriend of two years is in the Army and he is stationed in Korea. I kinda get jelous because It seemes so amazing there but that ok because this summer he is taking his leave from the army and flying us to Japan. I know its going to awesome. I hope I get picked for the fantasy makeover I have always wanted to model but I am only 5'2 and I live in a little town in Texas-Darcy

I AM 24 YEAR OLD THING NOT THE SAME I HAVE STRESS FOR JOBS. BUT I WATCH YOUR SHOWER. I NEED YOU HELP WITH A JOBS TO HAVE A BETTERS. I CRY EVERYDAY I WAKE UP IN MORING.SOMEDAY I FEELING LIKE A WOMAN IS MARRIED FEELING LIKE CHILDERN ASKED MY MOTHER EVERY THINGS MY BOYFRIEND EVERY THING I WANT BUT THAT DON'T ME. PLEASE HELP ME AND MY FAMILY. LOVE SHOW THAT BRING TO THE LIGHT.

I just saw the show today on the all day model experience. It is amazing that all these ladies are an inspiration to their community and life itself. Bringing out their fantasy makeover was breathtaking. I am 24 years old, originally from NY , been in and out of divorce for sometime now and have two beautiful kids. I used to be a overall dancer such as ballet, jazz, tap and etc. Now I take care of my children full time and am known to be an overall nurturing person. I have done everything from volunteering to of course being the "doctor" for people, lol. I have also been through alot in my marriage and still standing tall through all of it. My dream fantasy makeover would be anything from the love of the NYC look, music, dance and motherly look all in one. Maybe Broadway style. I just want to tell you Tyra that I am so inspired by your show and the messages that are presented. Thank you for your time reading my thoughts. Take care, Victoria "Vicky"

Hi Tyra, I have always wanted to be a model, but being that I am only 5'4'' and from Oklahoma opportunity hasn't quite knocked down my door. Now, that I am married with two of the most beautiful boys anyone would ever lay eyes on, my dreams of being a model have kind of fell by the waist side. These days being a full time mom and never having much time for myself is my life. I would love to just have a once in a lifetime makeover. I believe that I am a queen so a Queen of Sheba or Nefertari makeover would be ideal for me.

Hi Tyra, I don't know if I necessarily deserve a fantasy makeover, but I would sure like one. I am 26 years old, no children but I do have a husband who is a recovering addict and I have been having to deal with him relapsing many times over the past 3 years. He's sober now for almost 3 months and is doing well; he's going to his meetings when he can (I go with him for support) and he's trying to carve out his own spiritual path. I do what I can to help him out, but at times it can be very trying. I have also been under a lot of stress because of a lack of a job. I have been out of work for over a year (I lost my job in Dec. '07). It's tough trying to get back out there, but I'm not giving up. I can't give up, because we are behind on our rent and I need to find something to get us back on track. Now, if you do choose me for your fantasy makeover, I would like to be a Phoenix. The Phoenix is very personal to me, because my name Renee means 'Rebirth/Reborn' and The Phoenix is the symbol of rebirth. I feel if I could get a makeover it really would be like me getting reborn so I could rise up out of these ashes that I am finding myself in and take my husband with me. We could get a break from reality for a moment and maybe, just maybe get the bearings we need to get back on track and make it in this world. I don't know if that made any sense, but I think you know what I mean. Thank you for taking the

Hi Tyra and Glam Squad!!! Thanks for the hair and make up tips. I am interested in watching a show about NATURAL BEAUTY. Perhaps one that will show you and other models, if possible, WITHOUT MAKEUP and show all the world how you look when you wake up and how even beautiful women like you can sometimes feel down or wakeup feeling "ugly". I strongly feel, this will help our younger girs with low self estem to learn that true beauty is who we are inside. I remember looking at pictures of Catherine Zeta-Jones, for example, without make up. She looks totally different, has no eyelashes, no eyebrows, and had ugly teeth. And you look at her in the movies and you say Wow! I wish I looked like her. So, please keep doing what you do for all of us women. Thank you for always making us feel better about ourselves! Thank you! Carmin Texas

Hi Tyra u r DISGUSTING ...luv u madly ...BUT what about the older women who are big fans .... you know your moms age ....yep ..u know u got older fans too ...what about a show fantasy glam girls too ....luv your show that racial show O MY GOD ,DONT 4ET ABOUT US OLD GIRLS :( BTW UR MOM IS SO BEAUTIFUL THANX FROM AN OLD BLK COUGAR XOXOX

Hi Tyra, first off I just want to tell you that I am a big fan of you and your show, I watch it everyday. I just finished watching the makeover show, and the way those girls turned out was just amazing. Any girl would be lucky to expierence that for a day. I hope that for one day I can too. I love the world of fashion, runway, makeup, modelling, but my heart is into acting. To an actor you have to feel confident in everything you do. Sometimes I feel I lack that confidence, and the way media sends out messages of how you have to look a certain way to be considered perfect is ridiculous. But, sometimes it can get to you. When I look in the mirror, there are times where I dont feel pretty enough, then thats when I feel low and I loose that confidence I had 30 minutes ago. I feel that this makeover can boost my self esteem not only on how I look on the outside, but the feeling on the inside. The feeling that I can accomplish greatness one day and furfil my dreams. I saw those girls today, and the way they expressed themselves of how good they look and feel hit me in way that I was happy for them, but at the same time I wish that I too could feel that way, not only for just one day, but I feel that this makeover will make me feel what those girls have felt and probably still feel everyday. There are also little things that I do so I dont have spend money on cosmetics. My mascara ran out couple of day ago, so instead of buying a new one I just put water in it to

Hi Tyra how are you doing i love both your shows ANTM and The Tyra Banks Show. I've always wanted a makeover and to become a model. But it seem like my dreams want come true. For one thing i am a little short (5'2) and i have 2 special needs kids a 3 and 7 year old. I am 23 years old and i have to stay at home with my kids b/c they need alot of care. I not married but i have my family help. They want me to live my dream to become the first 5'2 person to become  a model and walk the runways or catwalk. My roles models are Eva,Dani, Nicole, Niama, Salashia, Whintey, and Caridee.(yes off of ANTM)If you and your Glam Squad could give me the makeover i want i want to be an role model for all the girls out their who thinks that they are not pretty or beautiful enough.

Hi Tyra, I loved your show today. I have a daughter who is 14 almost 15 with beautiful red hair. She is gorgeous but she does not see it because she is not the one who always has boys following her around like her friends seem to. She is a smart (4.0 gpa), independent, strong willed girl who scares the boys off with her strong personality. I have tried to explain that HS should be about keeping her grades up but we all know better. She is a HS girl and wants to have fun just like the rest of her friends, and unfortunatly that includes boys. If she could have a makeover to show her that she to is beautiful, red hair and all I think it would help her self esteem.

Hi tyra, I saw your show today and it was really great. You made them so happy. I've always wanted a makeover like that, but I know someone who deserves it far more. Her name is claire, she is 18, and she's a really good friend of mine. Her and I suffered through anorexia together, Helping each other find strengh and encouraging each other to be better. I have recovered but I'm sad to say claire has not. She's truly beautiful inside and out but she can't see herself that way. I want her to see the beautiful person that everyone else see's. This would help her self esteem so much. I'd love it if you would please concider her. Thanks a bunch. -Hannah

The diet game. I eat what I want, when I want, whenever I want, as much as I want, however I want. I also walk, at least this way I don't think about food and waste my time. Walking doesn't cause me to eat more than if I didn't exercise, versus running where I have to eat more. Even the slightest inclination to eat is correct to me, no matter what that food is. What I specifically don't do is think that I'm not going to eat. If this doesn't get me desire we might not agree on the meaning.
