Tyra's Glam Squad are the fiercest in the business. Yaniece dresses Tyra to the T; Oscar knows how to give Tyra bouncy curls and Valente always makes her eyes pop.

The Glam Squad gave 4 deserving women the chance of a lifetime to be models for a day with out-of-this-world makeovers.

Now they're dishing out some of their beauty and fashion secrets just for you!

Yaniece Thomas, Wardrobe Stylist
We all know that times are tough right now, which can make shopping for the latest fashion trends a bit difficult. Check out the thrift stores in your area. That is a great way to find clothes you will love, keep your wardrobe looking new and fresh, and you'll also be putting money back into the economy!

Another thing I love to do with my friends is have a monthly Diva Swap. These are my all time fave. Each month we all get together at someone's house and have a themed party. Everyone brings some of their gently worn garments and get "Diva Dollars" at the beginning of the night. Then we have a bunch of food and drinks and start bidding on the clothes we want. By the end of the night we've all had a ton of fun and walk away with new clothes and you don't have to spend a dime! It's a fun night with the girls and kills the shopping urge!

Oscar James, Hair Stylist
The way to get curls like Tyra is to start with blow dried hair. Take 1-inch sections of hair and spray it with a light holding spray. Twist hair around a quarter size curling iron and hold for a few seconds. Use a small iron for tight curls and a larger iron for softer waves and curls; the larger the iron, the looser the wave. Pull the end of the section through the curling to finish the ends. For a more tousled and fuller look curl one row to the left and the next to the right and keep alternating. This keeps the curls from clumping together and makes the curls sit on top of one another and makes the hair appear fuller.

Valente Frazier, Make-Up Artist
Are you tired of seeing girls with clumpy glue on their false lashes? Well, here's a simple tip to make your falsies appear seamless and flawless. First chose glue that's made for use on the eyes, not glue for weaves! Weave glue should stay reserved for your head ladies. Weave glue is much stronger, but can permanently damage your lash bed, inhibit lash growth, and rip the lashes you do have out! Duo Lash Glue is a perfect product to consider. It is a latex formula that is gentle for the eyes. This product comes in two shades, black and white. I use the black glue on Tyra.

Once you've taken the false lashes out of the cart, take the head of a bobby pin and apply a small dab of glue to it. Gently apply the glue to the band (the part that fits on the eye) of the false lash. Repeat this step once more to assure that you have a sufficient amount of glue to adhere to your lash line. The key is not to use too much so you don't get that clumpy gluey look. Wait a minute for the glue on the lash band to become a little tacky and then apply the false lash to your lash bed (the base of the lashes).

To help you see where you are putting the false lash, try squinting the eye you are applying the lash to, keeping it slightly open. Tyra does this with her eyes all the time when I'm applying her lashes.

Make sure before you glue the lashes on that they are not too long or too short. Hold the false lash up to your eye to measure it. If it's too long, snip a small piece off the end. For an even, more believable lash, try a false lash that's not too long and unnatural looking. Also try cutting the false lash in half. Apply the half lash to the end of your lash bed. Mascara is the final touch that seals the deal. It helps to blend your natural lashes together with the falsies for a final flawless finish.

Finally, these are three make-up must-haves I recommend!

  • Makeup Forever Face and Body Foundation

  • L'Oréal Paris' Double Extend Mascara

  • Iman Cosmetic's Afterglow Bronzing Powder

Hey Tyra! I always watch your shows! I love you! I think everything you do is amazing! You said to write in if we wanted to be models for a day, and as much as it is my dream to be a model, I am actually here to tell you how much my mother would deserve to be pampered for a day! Everyone says they have the greatest mom, but mine would simply do anything for anyone she loves. She always tries to do what's best, and life has been quite horrible to her! She deserves so much more than she has, she deserves anything and everything! She grew up in Portugal and was quite poor, and she told me one day her friend had 2 princess dresses, and lended one to my mother (the uglier one, of course) and they got dressed up and she told me it was the first and only time she ever felt like a princess! It makes me sad because she deserves to feel like a princess every single day! Please Tyra! If you are looking for anyone worthy of a makeover I hope you think of my mother! She deserves it more than anyone!! Thanks Tyra!! Stay fierce!!! Love, Rachael

Hi Tyra, Thank you for helping women to develop stronger self-esteems. I really admire you, and I love watching your show. I am 29 years old. I have a couple of chronic diseases--one of them is related to rheumatoid arthritis. I have one of the most aggressive cases I've heard about for my age. I have lost almost every part of my life I've valued. I cannot walk without a cane and I need a wheel-chair to get through stores, etc. Although I have a college degree, I spend most of my days in bed because of the pain. I have lost my hobbies, my career goals, and even the dream to have a child because of my health. Most of all, I have lost my freedom. Many people have often stared at me as I walk by because of my cane. I'd love a make-over to feel beautiful again. Then I'd feel confident when people would stare at me. Please consider me a candidate for a make-over on your show. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Lesley

Hi Tyra: My 18 daughter is georgeous to me, beautiful and thin. However she has had to live with a large birthmark that covers a large part of the side of her face and it looks like a big bruise and of course she has had to live with it all her life. People starring at her, etc. She seems confident on the outside to me but every now and then she says something about having walk around with her face like it is. No boyfriends yet. It would be so great for her to have a make over for a one time dream experience and to possibly learn how to wear day make up to cover her birthmark without having to look and feel caked on. She watches your show daily. She would be so thrilled, and just wouldn't believe it if you choose her. She is an amazing all league athlete and is getting a collge scholarship which is unusual for such a petite person. Please, please, please choose her. Anyway, thanks for reading and continued success. Mom Jackson Mom

Hi, I think Tyra Banks is obviously beautiful but I hope she dosen't become another bad plastic surgery epidemic, that occurs heavily in the entertainment industry. I say this because Tyra Banks is looking more and more like a caucasian girl...or at least she's trying. I'm not trying to be mean but her nose looked smaller and more contoured today and her skin looked lighter. I've seen pictures of Tyra Banks in high school and she looked more African American than she does today. I think she's beatiful and I hope she remains as a beautiful African American woman and not try to be someone she's not...it just isn't natural...

Hey Tyra, the show today was great. I always love watching what you can do for these girls. I have always been a huge fan of your show; you have some of the best messages to share with us women. You asked us to let you know if we were interested in being transformed for a day and why. Every girl has a past, and growing up is never easy. I had a rough past as well. When I was young my mother left my dad to raise my sister and I. He did a great job, but the lack of a mother figure growing up was hard. I taught myself how to do the things a mother would (makeup, hair, shopping, puberty, etc.) We moved a lot so it was hard to make friends. During high school I went through a rough time battling anorexia, and my dad never really understood. I have now graduated, am working full time, and going to school full time. I will be the first one on either side of my family to get a degree. I find it hard to spend time on myself. A make-over would get me looking great and help improve my self esteem, as well as give me a break from my day to day routine. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to tell you my story!

Hi tyra!! I loved ur show today. Those girls really looked great and they were so confident, it was great! Tyra I would absolutely LOVE a makeover, u know I know I don't have it as bad as alot of other people but I just think me being able 2 get a makeover would definitely bring me out of this depressing slump I am currently in...I'm 25 yrs old I graduated from college a few years back with my bachelor's degree and I'm not gon lie college was very difficult for me, but u know I started working right out of college, worked for 3 years and got laid off in january. It wasnt my "career job" but it was a job and paying my bills so it sucked to get laid off. But since that happened its been giving me time to actually sit and think about what I want to do with my life & I'm currently trying to get back in school to ultimately become a physical therapist...I just feel like my life is in the midst of changing & I just want a new me to go along with it cuz I am just plain jane! lol I mean I LOVE fashion but I always wear my hair in a straight simple wrap & I just want a change tyra girl! I wanna look DISGUSTING!!! But I love u tyra! Keep being ur beautiful self!

Hey Tyra, when you mentioned getting a makeover today in your show, I thought I would never be more happier to send a message to you describing why I wanted to get one, but then I took a moment to reflect on how selfish that would sound. Even thought I would love to get all gammed up, one person in my life that I know for certain that would appreciate it more then I could ever appreciate anything, would be my mother. Forgiving the worst of people, helping others, putting others before herself, my mother is a hero, and deserves a day in the spot light. It breaks my heart when I hear her say she’s not pretty, because I know true beauty shines within, but a day just made for her would be pure magic right from the hands of a goddess that understands women, you. My mom as been through a lot and a chance like to exude radiance would lift her up. This was just a thought, and I know if you were to consider this, you wouldn’t be disappointed with your actions. Trust me if it goes to someone it should go to my mom. My mom, a softball coach, basketball coach, mother of 3 crazy kids, 100% love, 0 % time for herself. Thanks you for your time.. God bless you Trya. Love Sami(jersey girl)

hey tyra, i really liked the show today, the girls looked great! i would love to have a makeover and be a model for a day. im 15 almost 16, but i have been made fun of since like first grade and things with people at school have gotten better, but not at home or with "friends". if i could get this done, i think i would feel so much more confident and forget all the drama thats going on in my life. i have never really felt attractive or pretty, so i would love if i could do this!

Hi Tyra, I got so caught up in my last comment that i didn't get a chance to tell you, if i got the chance to be a model for a day what my dream transformation would be. Me and you have a couple of things in common and one of them is being a big fan of beyonce and my dream transformation would be to have a real way make over like the bootyful beyonce to a runway make over of sasha fierce. This will be such a honor for me when i thought all was lost when my ex boyfriend gave me a STD and the doctor told me i wouldn't recover from this, and stressing about the marriage of my parents and keeping in mind of the well fare on my sister in all this drama i always kept the faith and being the strength in my houshold. I also love the young people and i am in this group and we call our self "Youth destinied for Greatness" and we inspire young ladies to be the best that they can be and impowering them self as a individual and i use my story to as a walking testimony and i say that because, when the doctor say i couldn't recover, i'm proud to say i have recovered and want to to be a inspiration to others as you are to me tyra, and my dream as always been to be a camp member at your camp t-zone but as i grown i would just love to be apart of the team to reach out to all the young ladies in the world that is one of my desires. I love you tyra and keep on doing what your doing cause we are out here looking out
