Tyra's Glam Squad are the fiercest in the business. Yaniece dresses Tyra to the T; Oscar knows how to give Tyra bouncy curls and Valente always makes her eyes pop.

The Glam Squad gave 4 deserving women the chance of a lifetime to be models for a day with out-of-this-world makeovers.

Now they're dishing out some of their beauty and fashion secrets just for you!

Yaniece Thomas, Wardrobe Stylist
We all know that times are tough right now, which can make shopping for the latest fashion trends a bit difficult. Check out the thrift stores in your area. That is a great way to find clothes you will love, keep your wardrobe looking new and fresh, and you'll also be putting money back into the economy!

Another thing I love to do with my friends is have a monthly Diva Swap. These are my all time fave. Each month we all get together at someone's house and have a themed party. Everyone brings some of their gently worn garments and get "Diva Dollars" at the beginning of the night. Then we have a bunch of food and drinks and start bidding on the clothes we want. By the end of the night we've all had a ton of fun and walk away with new clothes and you don't have to spend a dime! It's a fun night with the girls and kills the shopping urge!

Oscar James, Hair Stylist
The way to get curls like Tyra is to start with blow dried hair. Take 1-inch sections of hair and spray it with a light holding spray. Twist hair around a quarter size curling iron and hold for a few seconds. Use a small iron for tight curls and a larger iron for softer waves and curls; the larger the iron, the looser the wave. Pull the end of the section through the curling to finish the ends. For a more tousled and fuller look curl one row to the left and the next to the right and keep alternating. This keeps the curls from clumping together and makes the curls sit on top of one another and makes the hair appear fuller.

Valente Frazier, Make-Up Artist
Are you tired of seeing girls with clumpy glue on their false lashes? Well, here's a simple tip to make your falsies appear seamless and flawless. First chose glue that's made for use on the eyes, not glue for weaves! Weave glue should stay reserved for your head ladies. Weave glue is much stronger, but can permanently damage your lash bed, inhibit lash growth, and rip the lashes you do have out! Duo Lash Glue is a perfect product to consider. It is a latex formula that is gentle for the eyes. This product comes in two shades, black and white. I use the black glue on Tyra.

Once you've taken the false lashes out of the cart, take the head of a bobby pin and apply a small dab of glue to it. Gently apply the glue to the band (the part that fits on the eye) of the false lash. Repeat this step once more to assure that you have a sufficient amount of glue to adhere to your lash line. The key is not to use too much so you don't get that clumpy gluey look. Wait a minute for the glue on the lash band to become a little tacky and then apply the false lash to your lash bed (the base of the lashes).

To help you see where you are putting the false lash, try squinting the eye you are applying the lash to, keeping it slightly open. Tyra does this with her eyes all the time when I'm applying her lashes.

Make sure before you glue the lashes on that they are not too long or too short. Hold the false lash up to your eye to measure it. If it's too long, snip a small piece off the end. For an even, more believable lash, try a false lash that's not too long and unnatural looking. Also try cutting the false lash in half. Apply the half lash to the end of your lash bed. Mascara is the final touch that seals the deal. It helps to blend your natural lashes together with the falsies for a final flawless finish.

Finally, these are three make-up must-haves I recommend!

  • Makeup Forever Face and Body Foundation

  • L'Oréal Paris' Double Extend Mascara

  • Iman Cosmetic's Afterglow Bronzing Powder

Hi Tyra. I really enjoyed and love this show..especially this episode. I'm 17 years old and realized that I'm actually beautiful. I would have to say that I personaly think I went through 'ugly duckling syndrome' as I like to call it..being the unattractive, young, nerdy looking girl to now a more confident and I think more attractive. Only a few people think I am pretty or attractive and this is starting to make my confidence decrease again. I lived in Saudi Arabia most of my life and have just recently moved. Life is definitely different now and I did not realize how harsh people can really be. My fashion choises, musical taste and style is looked down upon by the parents and family and I just want them to accept me for who I am. I'm Jamaican, Indian and English and my everyday style is just jeans, t-shirts and hoodies..but I am really into gothic fashion and want to be a make up artist so I do try (note try) to do my makeup.I have favorite designer which I wish I could say inspire my look, however I just dont know how to achieve it. I love the quirkyness of Betsy Johnson and the Blondes and I absoletly love Tarina Tarintino. If I could have a fantasy makeover I would love to be a gothic dark princess, so a quirky but still somewhat dark, punk, rock princess. I want the elegance and fun, quirkyness and darkness to represent me.All I want to be is accepted by my family for who I am, and become confident again. I just want to be happy again.. Anyways I love you Tyra and you are so DISGUITING ( i love that word haha)

hey tyra,im 13 yrs old i love both of your show i have been watching top model since i was 9 i have learned so much from that show i think your a graet person i admire you soooooo much i see your show everyday after school i hope you can take your time and write back to see what you think.... i have always wanted 2 be a model but when im older because right now i dont really fell confident in my body as a teen im really cool to hang out with though you can contact me in myspace....I LOVE YOU TYRA!!!! thx jacquelyn,

Hi Tyra! I loved your show on Friday! I'm not sure if this is where we are supposed to type our fantasy, but I couldn't find anywhere else and this seems to be the common place! :-) My fantasy is to be made into an old fashion princess...cliche, I know! I have had a pretty hard few years. My mother is an alcoholic and until seventh grade I was primarily responsible for taking care of her every day. Also, I have severe scoliosis which I had surgery for in seventh grade, and again last year. I am a very happy person, but sometimes my self esteem is pretty low because of my scar! I am a junior in high school, and I want this makeover so much! :-)

hi tyra, i love watching your show every night but the other night when you had the show about the girl who was pregnant and working at the bunny ranch well i thought it was just rude the way you were coming at her an the way you were making her feel i don think theres anything wrong with what she wants to do with her life, if her broke baby daddy isn't taking care of her and helping her out then she has to take care of herself and she wanted to make enough money to have to get her baby stuff an to have money for her baby when its born and to take care of all those bills and herself and if thats the way she wanted to make fast good money then shoot let her do it i personally wouldn't do it because i only want to have sex with my boyfriend not a whole bunch of people but if i could make alot of money fast believe me i would but i don't have to worry about that because i am also 8 months pregnant but my boyfriend takes care of me like a real man. i hope to here what you have to say. -kim

hey tyra! my name is Kristen Johannesen from aurora colorado. Im 17 years old and im a junior at eaglecrest high school. I watch your show every day! im a HUGE fan! I would love a chance to be on your show for the model for a day show. one thing about myself that my friends think is pretty cool is that im kinda like the teen counsler. I take on everyones problems and help resolve them all as best as a kid can. Everything from parental problems to suicide. Ive prevented alot of kids from killing themselves and running away from there famlies. I have always loved modeling. Ive always wanted to be a model but only being 5'4'' i dont really have the shot of being one. When i was a little kid i use to put on fashion shows for my family and me and my friends would dress up in all the stuff from my closet. I even posed in pictures when i was a baby. Crying one moment and posed when the camera was brought out. Well im sure you have a whole lot more entrys to read so thank you so much for taking the time to read this! hope to hear from you! ♥kristen

Hey Tyra! Loved the show today. Girl you know i love you with all my heart, and you know i'm a devoted fan (Well actually i dont think you know these things, but wez gonna pretend aight?) I understand your show is directed to mainly women... why not do something for gay men. Like a show about girls gay bestfriends getting a make over cause they look BAD!!!! That would be cute. You can talk about what its like to be them, the friend, what they've done for each other, and them give the guy a total needed makeover. Then have him go on a date cause the hasnt been on one for days!!!! Or just have a show about devoted gay men fans who watch your show (like myself) and give them total makeovers... like you did today. Help us discover the beauty in ourselves like you do for so many other woman. I understand gay men are nowhere near being a woman, but we do idoalize woman like yourself, i know i do. Well thats it love, and thanks for everything. Your shows are a huge inspiration to not only women, but gay men out there! MUAH!

Hi Tyra, My name is Tonya but I go by Nikki and I'm 16 years old. I have long and super curly hair that I have no idea what to do with. I love having it this way but I only have two different hairstyles that are easy and doable and I hate putting it in a ponytail. Please help me and give me some tip to mix up my look a bit. Thank you for your time and please help me!

OMG!!! HI Tyra!!!!! Your soo amazing!!! My name is Gabriella Parisi AKA Gabi... and I'm 13 years old. I loved your show today! I come home from school and watch your show everyday...I LOVE THEM!! I have always wanted to be a model OR actress.....but i have always felt like the ugly duckling compared to my 3 sisters. I have giant women size 9 1/2 size foot, I'm 5"6 and skinny and i just don't feel beautiful like my 3 sister. You are such an amazing women...if i could meet you I would be soooooooooooooo happy!!! I look up to you and want to be like u someday!! If i could have a makeover i would totally have the fierce gossip girl look!! I love fashion soooo much that would be amazing!! BUT ANY OTHER MAKEOVER WOULD BE AMAZING TOO!! I think i deserve this I my because I'm a great sister and friend, I work so hard in school, and want i feel beautiful. Also my goal in life is to help people around the world like Africa and India......I just saw Slumdog Millionaire ( favorite movie SOOOOOO good!!) and i want to help those people in need when I'm older. Thank you so Much, Your so amazing, your my Inspiration!! LOVE YA! XOXO Gabi! =) P.S. PLEASE MAKE ME THE NEXT MAKEOVER.....IT WOULD BE THE BEST THING EVER TO HAPPEN TO ME!!

HEY TYRA! I posted this somewhere on the site earlier... but I think an AMAZINGidea for TOP MODEL would be to do an over the top photo shoot about MUSICALS. I think the theater and arts have so much mystery and magic so it is the perfect opportunity for girls to strut their FIERCE. Ideas could be Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Hairspray, Grease, Mary Poppins, A Chorus Line, Lion King, Mamma Mia, West Side Story, Chicago, etc. THINK ABOUT IT. you know you love it. xoxo

i loved this show, we have the verizon dvr and i record all your shows tyra and i wish i could do something like that. they all looked beautiful, so did you tyra. =)

I watched your show today and was so amazed at the difference you made for these women it was like a step up in the way they felt about themselves. I raised my 3 children put them threw college and feel it's my turn. I would love to have an opportunity that I thought I could have had when I younger, I would love to have that model experience. If I were able to do it I would love the Harley experience (the angel on 2 wheels) I see ladies on there bikes and it's something I have always wanted to do for myself oneday, take off my mom look and put on the leathers it's my dream one day I hope to come true.

Tyra, Those girls today were DISGUSTING!!! (im talking over the top fierce!!!) WOW Tyra you really are an inspiration to all of us girls out there in the world!!! I Love how you help people, and just like you, I myself am a mini Tyra at school.. I talk to people who are into drugs, gangs, and abusive relationships and help them get out and free themselves. Tyra you are just one of the two people I look up too. Tyra i know it would be a Blessing for me to get one of those Model For A day Makeovers, Because just like you I want to be "The Beautiful Lady Who Helps People in Need of Help", But instead of me, I would want my Mom to hopefully Recieve one. She, like most mothers, is a hard working mother who raises 4 kids on her own. Tyra i feel sorry for her, because whenever we go out and buy stuff she NEVER buys for herself. She has Had the SAME pair of shoes for over a year, and its the ONLY pair she has. She has exactly 2 pairs of jeans and only 3 pairs of shirts that fit her, and those shirts were passed down to her when she was pregnat A year ago...Tyra, my mom is very self concious and wont go ANYWHERE because she is embarrassed of the way she looks. Tyra PLEASE help my mom i want her to feel good about herself and i would like to go somewhere with her, but she just wont go. Please Tyra this would mean so much to Me to see my mom smile again. Please Tyra i just want my Mom to feel like a woman again

Hey Tyra, I was watching your show today and have been for the past couple of months( I actually have time to watch it now). But It brought me to tears to see how happy those four girls looked after their make over. I know I havent done anything extradinary and outgoing as some people but I'm 21 I just had a baby and got married and i feel so old and unatractive. I feel like i lost my glow. I have stretch marks all over and a muffin top that makes me uncomfortable in jeans. For my wedding I was eight months pregnant and felt fat in my wedding dress. I loved my wedding but I didnt look like the bride I always dreamed of. My husband always tells me I'm beautiful but I know when he sees my in my bra and undies he's like what did I get myself into!!!!!! I want to lose weight but when I feel down sweets dont cheer me up but they make me forget about how i feel! I look at all my girl friends my age and they all look hot but I look like the MOM out of the bunch. I dont have any money to treat myself to new clothes so I'm shoving myself into my old ones or overdoing it in my moms. Anyway enough about me, i just felt like letting it out to someone whom I look up to!!!!! LOVE YOU TYRA- mwah mwah and TAH TAH!!

TYRA! your glam squad did a great job making those girls lok "disgusting!" they al looked so great in photo shoot, and on runway! I am a 21 year old mother of 1. my baby boy was born 6 weeks ago, and since then I can say that if I even get out of my pajamas in a day its only to throw on a jump suit, no make up, and run down to the corner store. My husband is at work all day, so I am at home with the baby by myself, and boy is it hard. I had a very difficult pregnancy and at 39 weeks pregnant had an unplanned c-section. I was workng at the boys & girls club when i was pregnant, and had been for 7 years. but when i told them i was pregnant a lot changed. My position, my office.. a lot! I was working with teenagers betweenthe ages of 12-18, and teach them lifeskills that i hope they will remember for the rest of their lives. drugs, alcohol, sex... are just some of the few things i teach the kids about. before i worked there, i was a memeber there. I attended the boys and girls club from the time i was 6-18 and it really made a difference in my life, and helped me out at a young age (dealing with a drug attict sibling, wasn't always easy). after years of attending, and volunteering (tutoring, coaching, volunteering in community service projects) i was offered a job. There are many many teens and woman that deserve ths gift that you are wlling to give. i too would love the experience! thamks for all you do!

Hey Tyra. So I read the story of others below me and my story is nothing compared to some of theirs. But I would be more than grateful to receive a make-over from your glam squad. I'm a dark-skinned individual & often times people tell me, "Oh well you're pretty...for a dark skinned girl" and I always wonder why I'm never told you're pretty point blank or that your beautiful. In addition to being dark skinned I am also Nigerian. Most people label Nigerian girls and women with bad shape hair, very dark & ugly. I believe this make-over would give me the opportunity to break those stereotypes and show the world that Nigerian women are indeed gorgeous! Although it shouldn't matter what people think, being told that your beautiful is always a boost to one's self esteem. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you take this into consideration.
