Tyra's Glam Squad are the fiercest in the business. Yaniece dresses Tyra to the T; Oscar knows how to give Tyra bouncy curls and Valente always makes her eyes pop.

The Glam Squad gave 4 deserving women the chance of a lifetime to be models for a day with out-of-this-world makeovers.

Now they're dishing out some of their beauty and fashion secrets just for you!

Yaniece Thomas, Wardrobe Stylist
We all know that times are tough right now, which can make shopping for the latest fashion trends a bit difficult. Check out the thrift stores in your area. That is a great way to find clothes you will love, keep your wardrobe looking new and fresh, and you'll also be putting money back into the economy!

Another thing I love to do with my friends is have a monthly Diva Swap. These are my all time fave. Each month we all get together at someone's house and have a themed party. Everyone brings some of their gently worn garments and get "Diva Dollars" at the beginning of the night. Then we have a bunch of food and drinks and start bidding on the clothes we want. By the end of the night we've all had a ton of fun and walk away with new clothes and you don't have to spend a dime! It's a fun night with the girls and kills the shopping urge!

Oscar James, Hair Stylist
The way to get curls like Tyra is to start with blow dried hair. Take 1-inch sections of hair and spray it with a light holding spray. Twist hair around a quarter size curling iron and hold for a few seconds. Use a small iron for tight curls and a larger iron for softer waves and curls; the larger the iron, the looser the wave. Pull the end of the section through the curling to finish the ends. For a more tousled and fuller look curl one row to the left and the next to the right and keep alternating. This keeps the curls from clumping together and makes the curls sit on top of one another and makes the hair appear fuller.

Valente Frazier, Make-Up Artist
Are you tired of seeing girls with clumpy glue on their false lashes? Well, here's a simple tip to make your falsies appear seamless and flawless. First chose glue that's made for use on the eyes, not glue for weaves! Weave glue should stay reserved for your head ladies. Weave glue is much stronger, but can permanently damage your lash bed, inhibit lash growth, and rip the lashes you do have out! Duo Lash Glue is a perfect product to consider. It is a latex formula that is gentle for the eyes. This product comes in two shades, black and white. I use the black glue on Tyra.

Once you've taken the false lashes out of the cart, take the head of a bobby pin and apply a small dab of glue to it. Gently apply the glue to the band (the part that fits on the eye) of the false lash. Repeat this step once more to assure that you have a sufficient amount of glue to adhere to your lash line. The key is not to use too much so you don't get that clumpy gluey look. Wait a minute for the glue on the lash band to become a little tacky and then apply the false lash to your lash bed (the base of the lashes).

To help you see where you are putting the false lash, try squinting the eye you are applying the lash to, keeping it slightly open. Tyra does this with her eyes all the time when I'm applying her lashes.

Make sure before you glue the lashes on that they are not too long or too short. Hold the false lash up to your eye to measure it. If it's too long, snip a small piece off the end. For an even, more believable lash, try a false lash that's not too long and unnatural looking. Also try cutting the false lash in half. Apply the half lash to the end of your lash bed. Mascara is the final touch that seals the deal. It helps to blend your natural lashes together with the falsies for a final flawless finish.

Finally, these are three make-up must-haves I recommend!

  • Makeup Forever Face and Body Foundation

  • L'Oréal Paris' Double Extend Mascara

  • Iman Cosmetic's Afterglow Bronzing Powder

Hi Tyra♥ My name is Julie, I am 16! I messaged you before about how I want the makeover, but I changed my mind. I think you should give my mom the makeover! I love her so so much! She has had such a hard time lately, my grandma passed away, money is very tight, plus she fell at work and has neck and back problems and its just me and her. She always says that she wants something to do with her hair because it is unmanageable! And Im not sure if this is part of the makeover but she needs some clothes! She always borrows mine, which sometimes i do mind (haha) since im 5'10" and she is 5'1" haha! She never buys things for herself and I want her to have nice things and not buy me things when she needs them alot more! Well, I hope you choose my mom! She is a wonderful person! :] ♥Julie

Dear Tyra Banks, I am a type one diabetic, and it is hard for me to go through everyday life. This is why i think i deserve to be a model for a day. Even though i deserve it, I think my mom and sister deserve a makeover and photo shoot too. They help me get through everyday life. They are so beautiful and I would love to give them self confidence by this. For my mom i would like something intellectual with a pencil skirt and white shirt and heels with books all around her. For my sister i would like her to have candy all around her and be in like a candy land (with an orange background cause she loves orange!). I would like to have a glamorous Marilyn Monroe style photo shoot. Very glamorous (but no blond hair cause i do not look good blond, maybe waves). Thank you so much! Please email me if you pick us for the details and personal information! Thank you -Samantha

Please excuse my last message, it didnt finish, it got cut off. I will write a new one.

Dear Tyra Banks, I am not sure if this is the correct spot to post my application for the model for a day, but this is the only place I can think of. Anyway to start off, i would not only like to submit myself, but i would like to submit my mother and sister. They are the greatest people in the world. I am a type one diabetic and it is very hard for me to go through everyday life. Type one diabetes is much different from type two. It is hard to do normal things sometimes too. When my blood sugar is low or high it is hard to do something, and when I go to school or hang out with people, or do anything, I have to constantly worry about my diabetes and who i tell it to. But i do not let my diabetes hold me back. I do everything i can do to live a normal life like everyone else. And this is helped so much by my mother, Catherine, and sister, Jessica. For my mother's photo shoot, I would like it to be real intellectual. I would like her to be in a white top and a black pencil skirt and black high heels. I would like her to have books in the background and a book in her hand. I don't want her to wear glasses though. I would like her beautiful eyes to show. For my little sister's photo shoot, I would like something real sweet and innocent. My sister is only twelve so I would like to keep her's young, but of course not like a baby's (more teen like)! I would like her's to have candy all around her. Like star burst, fruit gushers, gummy bears, skittles, and more. No

TELL ME WHY YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT WORKING AND I WILL SHOW AND TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO BE WORKING,ESPECIALLY IN TODAY'S ECONOMY... Dear friend, As a Job Ready Strategist, I can provide the tools to empower the recent graduate, the unemployed, and those seeking a career change or concerned about job security in an increasingly uncertain economic environment. Tyra Banks Show empowers viewers with tools they need towards their journey of self-sufficiency. Our respective goals mesh perfectly. My program focuses on fostering a healthy mind by securing gainful employment; Tyra helps to create inward wellness. Our partnership would create a powerful mind-body connection. The current economic rollercoaster is triggering widespread emotional upheaval; as unemployment continues to rise, stress accelerates, bringing about unhealthy lifestyle choices (poor nutrition, depression. and lack of exercise, for example). Tyra Banks Show alleviates stress and depression, fostering a positive outlook and healthier lifestyle. Add to this my systematic, concise approach to employment, and you have the “TEAM UP” strategy which translates into to a healthier mind, body and spirit. I’m proposing that Tyra Banks Show dedicate a show(s) concentrating on providing its audience the essential tools needed to find and retain employment in today’s economic uncertainty by presenting my “Seven Steps to Employment Success System” career seminar. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF ALL THOSE IN THE TYRA BANKS SHOW UNIVERSE THAT ARE UNEMPLOYED, RECENT GRADUATE AND THOSE SEEKING A CAREER CHANGE OR WHO ARE CONCERNED ABOUT JOB SECURITY IN AN INCREASING AND UNCERTAIN ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT, WRITE TO TYRA AND THE SHOWS PRODUCERS TO DEDICATE A SHOW(S) ON MY "THE SEVEN STEPS TO EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS POWER SYSTEM" CAREER SEMINAR. WHAT DO YOU THINK... To your success in 2009, Michael Coritsidis Job Ready Strategist acareercoach4u@yahoo.com

HI TYRA!!!! my name's Raquel or u can say Rachel and I'm writing from Portugal. I see ur show every day and I like it very much. I like u either!!! :D Just to say kisses and go on with ur amazing show! It's real good. ;)

Hey tyra! i really enjoyed this show, and love all the makeovers. It all looks so much fun and amazing. i would love the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing show. my fantasy makeover would have to be something fun and happy since i am a fun loving person. lollipops, candy, and cupcakes. haha something colorful and happy. Or maybe even something really girly. Im trying to break out of the safe t-shirt and jeans and trying to learn how to dress myself more like a girl. i just recently bought some high heels that i actually wore out of my house. before that i just walked around my house in private practicing my walk while i watched ANTM. i am 5'4" and when i heard that you were changing the height requirement for ANTM i was so excited. i have been watching since the first season and have been practicing and learning ever since even though i knew i was on the short side. i had missed the deadline to send a video tape, so i looked up the dates for the casting calls. i live in phoenix, az so the la casting call was the closest. it is actually today.. i got time off and planed on driving to la to try out. earlier this week on tuesday i was in a pretty bad car accident . i totaled my car and had to be transported to the hospital. my dash had completely crushed on top of me, and left me with some injuries that have left me hobbling around on crutches. i was unable to make it to the casting call, which really stinks. it really disappointed me to miss the opportunity to try. i don't give up easily but i cant drive myself
