Tyra's Glam Squad are the fiercest in the business. Yaniece dresses Tyra to the T; Oscar knows how to give Tyra bouncy curls and Valente always makes her eyes pop.

The Glam Squad gave 4 deserving women the chance of a lifetime to be models for a day with out-of-this-world makeovers.

Now they're dishing out some of their beauty and fashion secrets just for you!

Yaniece Thomas, Wardrobe Stylist
We all know that times are tough right now, which can make shopping for the latest fashion trends a bit difficult. Check out the thrift stores in your area. That is a great way to find clothes you will love, keep your wardrobe looking new and fresh, and you'll also be putting money back into the economy!

Another thing I love to do with my friends is have a monthly Diva Swap. These are my all time fave. Each month we all get together at someone's house and have a themed party. Everyone brings some of their gently worn garments and get "Diva Dollars" at the beginning of the night. Then we have a bunch of food and drinks and start bidding on the clothes we want. By the end of the night we've all had a ton of fun and walk away with new clothes and you don't have to spend a dime! It's a fun night with the girls and kills the shopping urge!

Oscar James, Hair Stylist
The way to get curls like Tyra is to start with blow dried hair. Take 1-inch sections of hair and spray it with a light holding spray. Twist hair around a quarter size curling iron and hold for a few seconds. Use a small iron for tight curls and a larger iron for softer waves and curls; the larger the iron, the looser the wave. Pull the end of the section through the curling to finish the ends. For a more tousled and fuller look curl one row to the left and the next to the right and keep alternating. This keeps the curls from clumping together and makes the curls sit on top of one another and makes the hair appear fuller.

Valente Frazier, Make-Up Artist
Are you tired of seeing girls with clumpy glue on their false lashes? Well, here's a simple tip to make your falsies appear seamless and flawless. First chose glue that's made for use on the eyes, not glue for weaves! Weave glue should stay reserved for your head ladies. Weave glue is much stronger, but can permanently damage your lash bed, inhibit lash growth, and rip the lashes you do have out! Duo Lash Glue is a perfect product to consider. It is a latex formula that is gentle for the eyes. This product comes in two shades, black and white. I use the black glue on Tyra.

Once you've taken the false lashes out of the cart, take the head of a bobby pin and apply a small dab of glue to it. Gently apply the glue to the band (the part that fits on the eye) of the false lash. Repeat this step once more to assure that you have a sufficient amount of glue to adhere to your lash line. The key is not to use too much so you don't get that clumpy gluey look. Wait a minute for the glue on the lash band to become a little tacky and then apply the false lash to your lash bed (the base of the lashes).

To help you see where you are putting the false lash, try squinting the eye you are applying the lash to, keeping it slightly open. Tyra does this with her eyes all the time when I'm applying her lashes.

Make sure before you glue the lashes on that they are not too long or too short. Hold the false lash up to your eye to measure it. If it's too long, snip a small piece off the end. For an even, more believable lash, try a false lash that's not too long and unnatural looking. Also try cutting the false lash in half. Apply the half lash to the end of your lash bed. Mascara is the final touch that seals the deal. It helps to blend your natural lashes together with the falsies for a final flawless finish.

Finally, these are three make-up must-haves I recommend!

  • Makeup Forever Face and Body Foundation

  • L'OrĂ©al Paris' Double Extend Mascara

  • Iman Cosmetic's Afterglow Bronzing Powder

Dear Tyra, This is the rest of my message.... I am sooo thankful that it is closed however I would like to be beautiful like all of the other girls in the world, but I do not feel beautiful with this scar. Oh Tyra I know I am not the only person in the world with a scar...but I truly ask you from the bottom of my heart to be able to have a makeover to learn how to really cover up this scar. Please help me feel beautiful Tyra! Thank you sooo much for your time in reading this! I love you and your show!=]

Dear Tyra, I was just watching your show as I do every morning before my classes at college and I wanted to say why I think I would be a good candidate for your celebrity makeover/photo shoot like that Green-girl, Ally. Well Tyra, here is my story: When I was five years old, my jaw would only open a tiny bit,soo small that I could not bite into meat or anything bigger than like macaroni and cheese...we were not sure why this was, for x-rays showed nothing broken...Throughout the years to follow, I had surgery after surgery to correct my jaw and thus, one prostesis was used to replace my right jaw bone. This caused a reaction, and a giant 2-inch hole in the side of my head, just below my ear.. I was a high school freshman at the time with a hole in my head that would drain 24/7 literally! I could not find a doctor to help me close it because they were all afraid of messing up. I also developed a tumor from the prostesis as it was grinding against a bone in my ear. So I had to have yet another surgery...Finally, thanks to God my family and I were lucky to find a doctor to do the surgery, ending at the 22nd doctor to finally say yes to do the surgery and close the hole that had now been open for 2 years! Today I am a 19 year old, college sophomore with a large scar on the side of my face now... I cannot find any makeup to cover it up Tyra. I try so hard and yet I have not found anything to cover this scar. I am sooo thankful that it is closed however I would like to be beautiful like

My family and I watch your show two times a day. I've noticed that you have many shows about young girls who are aready facing sef esteem issues. Whether it is weight, or sexting, promiscuity, even physical abuse. You've had countless shows on prostitution, strippers, ect. The bottom line in all of those shows is self esteem and self worth. After growing up in an extreamly abusive disfunctional family, and the loss of my mother at the age of 10, I've made unhealthy choices in life due to low self esteem and poor scense of self worth. Although I've always known I wasn't "ugly" and people have told me that I was beautiful it didn't help. I don't want the same thing to happen to my daughter who is 7. She is mixed (half white, 1/4 black, 1/4 Italian) with blond hair and blue eyes. She is georgous but I have noticed she is not sure of herself being what in our house we call "white chocolate". Have you ever thought of maybe having a show on teaching self esteem to kids so they don't end up having poor self worth.

I love you show very much, mostly when you come out there to show young people like me, one thing i would like to ask you do you have a make over male 2 cuz i love fashion, love to dress, you know now bad economic, please let me know if you have a make over for me too. love you peace.

Hi Tyra! I would love to get a make-over! I am a bit on the heavier side, and I feel that it always is stopping me from feeling complete. I feel like there is a beautiful girl inside, but that no one can see me for whom I really am - because they always look at my size and not how I am as a person. Or I have a great group of friends, who likes me for who I am, but when it comes to guys I always end up as the friend, not the girlfriend. I know I should not center my life around guys, but like every girl I know - you want guys to notice you! I do feel pretty at times, but I have a really low self-confidence and I feel like my body is getting in my way. That is why I would really love to get a make-over, so that I can look like the pretty girl that I feel like is hiding inside my body. Thank you for being such a great person, who always finds the best in people!
