Hey Tyra. I'm 17 years old, and I have first hand experience on teen female violence. But not because of jealousy, or anything else. I got beaten up because I was most likely believed to be someone else. The girl told me all these things that "I" had said to her and her gang friends. And then she beat me until I was unconcious on the road. What I think, is that when a girl is going after another... They don't really care about WHO it is, but in fact the feeling they get after. Perhaps a feeling of acceptance; seeing as their friends would be cheering or egging her on to do it. It's sad, really... I believe the girl who came after me was only 15 years old.

Many teen suffer from neglect. So when one is acting out she/he is really wanting attention. So any way that they could get they would. Even if it's from any body, if it's good a bad. So if you have a teen or know someone with a teen let them know to get the teen involved into something,Are show them more attention, that way they don't try to seek it, and it don't turn out to be negitive attention.
Hey Tyra, I am 15 and I have been in two fights in my life time. My first fight was in the 7th grade, I think fights happen with me because girls are jealous. They talk a lot of trash and it's hard to back down when they talk trash and are in your face. But I can say that my mom has taught me to never start fights try to walk away. But if they hit you first, knock them out!!
"Fist fights" and other violent attacks between girls is not only extremely trashy, however, proves a point of the girl who clearly is not articulate enough to express her feelings through words. Hey tyra I dnt get a chance to see ur shws bcuz im at wrk during ur hour but whn I get a chance I do watch it. I feel that teen girls act out in this manner due to the lack of attention at home so they seem actn out in this manner is any better. Another could be that they want to fit in with the in crowd or tuff ppl so they wnt get picked on. Beine tuff or teenage girls is like joining a gang like boys. A lot of these things have to do with young mothers having kids. They only way they can learn is the hard way sometimes. Everyone learns what the real reality is in life just at different times. So to all the young teen girls gettn violent with eachother need to relax and grow up. Focus on urself n what ur goals are in life cuz u only live once.
hey tyra my name is tish and i am 22 years old and i think what ur doing is great i live in the chicago area and am faced with challenges every day when u first started i didnt know how far your show would go i am now a big fan and know that it doesnt matter where u come from its how far u go. i think its because of acceptance and fear of not being accepted so we put up a defence so if we dont get accepted.they dont feel like they let their guard down.

I feel as if a lot of problems are caused by jealousy I am in the 10th grade and I myself witness soo much hate from ppl I barely know teen girls alread know how they feel about you before even knowing your name if you look a certain way and your pretty you are a target low selfesteem is the root of it all they feel as if you want their bf or their bf want you and drama starts there and trya im sure you know how it is teen girls are devious I've been betrayed and saw others have the most horrible things done to them over simple sistuation well that's my take on it.
