An emotional and empowering hour you can't miss.

Obese teens talk about their struggles with weight and the heartache they've experienced due to their size. Meet their concerned family members who are afraid their loved ones will die if they don't do something to start losing weight now. The teens hear the straight (and sometimes painful) truth from a doctor, and they meet with exercise expert Jorge Cruise to develop a weight loss program that's right for them. Plus, "Cheetah Girl" Sabrina Bryan shares her own story about growing up overweight. This is an hour you can't miss!

Dear tyra i watched your show to day and hit home in some ways because im overwieght teen im thirteen years old and have been having weight issues since i was like eight. I think im beutiful but others may not i love my self and i dont care wat others say. And i think those girls where insparational because they want to change their bodies but they have to do it for them and not for any body else or it wont work. so thank you tyra i love your show so much you are the most inspiring talk show host ever because you relate to the younger teen girls in society and try to make them a better person inside and out with out judging them. ps. Your awesome lol

Tyra I can totally relate to them I have a condition buts not obese but it is very hard for me. I found out that I could die from sickness too. But my point is they shouldn't worry because problems can be fixed and life won't be hard after that. I think it's really cool that they can say how they feel about it too. I really don't like to talk about whats going on with me, not even to my mom. Alejandra

To the overweight women on the show today, I know that it is so hard to be "Bigger". I have a twin sister that was 75 lbs less than myself. I go to school and at least once a week I half to hear how hott my sister is. Its very hard to handle and people telling me how they would like to have sex with my sister. So Kyelin, I know how you feel with your sister to be thinner than you. Another time that was really hard for me was that my ex boyfriend that I was with for about 6 months had told me that he never wnated to date me. He wanted to be with my sister. And I'm always being called fat and ugly. But I know that I am beautiful through Gods eyes and I can do anything that I put my heart to. Also I know that you want to lose that stupid weight!! And its not that hard to lose weight in the beginning. Dont worry about monitoring how much of whatever you eat. Try to move around more. Try going on a short walk with a family member or a friend before it gets dark outside. I love to dance, so I just turn on the radio, get up, close my eyes and dance away. Its SOO much fun! And I am a very happy person but when I was heavier I wasn't so happy. It is so cool to see how I used to be physically, emotionally, and mentally to how I am now. Just starting to lose weight boosts your self esteem and energy. Also, for christmas, I got Wii Fit and just using that from christmas til last month, I lost 25 lbs. From dancing, wii fit and

Tyra, I just want to thank you for not making thoes girls into freaks like other talk shows portray overweight kids!!!!! You are such great person because you genuinly want to help and not make fun of them!!! Thank you so much you are helping so many kids with this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey tyra! I want to thank you so much for having this show! I can relate to the girls more than anything. Im 17 years old and 350 pounds,I try not to let my weight effect me but sometimes it doesn't work so well. I have gone through all the girls problems and many more. Its been so bad i have changed schools twice due to bullying. Now i am at a smaller catholic high school surrounded by size 2 girls! I have also been through a custody battle because my father thought i was to big to live with my mom! ( i know jerk right!)I have tried every diet known to man but I'm still trying. but anyway! It gets hard but i try to keep my head up! I just want the girls to know they are beautiful inside and out and no matter how down you are know that you are beautiful in your own way!

Dear Tyra, im currently watching your show on the overweight girls. honestly i don watch your show unless im baby sitting my friends son. But this show kinda hit me. not because im "fat", but because these girls are going through the same stuff as ever one else goes through, the only difference is that theirs is very obvious. My relation to them is that i have anxiatie problems. this has sopedme from fulfilling my childhood dream. joining the United States Marine Corps. i have to take five pills every morning to getthrough the day and because of that i cant join any branch. i have accepted that and moved on with my life. i now hope to join Chip Foose in he automotive world. the thing these girls need o understand is that they need to only worry about what they want. i have a few suggestions for them. the workout i do is 80 curls 50 pushup 20 pull ups and a 3 mile run(U.S.M.C. workout) start slow even if its only one of each a day and work into more. one thing i have noticed about theseis they dont seem to have determination. that is key. and these girls are youngso they stil l have a long life ahead of them. i want them to know that if they want someone they can talk to they can join me on myspace as a friend. they can find me at myspace.com/natemansur.

Hi Tyra, todays show is amazing, i know where all of these girls are coming from, and i feel for them all the way! i have a thyroid issue and i have been over weight my whole life. When i was 16, the doc told me if i ever wanted children, i would not be able to have them due to my weight, i ended up pregnant at the age of 19 and now have a wondeful 9 month old son kaden. Having Kaden made my thyroid worse, i am nor 20, 5"5 and 260 lbs, and have many back problems due to my weight, now the doc is saying if i ever have anothr child, there is a possibility i could be paralized from the waist down. Tears me apart every day. I am very interested in the lap band surgury but it ranges in about 10,000 to 12,000 dollars and i can not afford it. I want to thank you for helping these girls, i know what it is like not being able to find help!

I just tuned into the show about all of these beautiful girls and their stories just broke my heart! Children and teenagers can be so mean. Through highschool I was known as one of the "popular" girls, but I never let that get to my head. I always tried to be nice and befriend everyone no matter what they looked like. I just wish that more teens would be more like I was in highschool. I also have a personal message to Megan. Megan, don't let your weight keep your from becoming a cheerleader. I was a cheerleader in highschool. I made Varsity my sophomore year. My junior year, the captain of the cheerleading squad was overweight! She was a great person and she got the job of captain because of her leadership skills, her school spirit, and her friendliness, not because of her looks. Please, please don't think that your weight is going to stop you from making the team. Cheerleading should be based on skills and leadership, not looks. Don't let the stereotypical cheerleaders bring you down girl! You are beautiful and if you want to be a cheerleader you CAN and WILL be one! I wish all of you girls the best of luck in life, and I hope that my message helps you know, that not all of us "skinny, pretty" girls are mean. You all are great young women! Keep your heads up and don't let anybody get in the way of following your dreams. You are all beautiful and I'm positive you will be happy in life. God Bless you all!

Hey Tyra I love watching your show . I think each of your girls are beautiful , believe it or not ive i went trought this. I lost over a 100lbs. You girls just work hard and you will also loose wieght .

Byou2 might be a good workout tape for girls that are regular-size, but for the girl who breaks her ankles by walking.... She can't possibly do that tape yet. She needs You on a Diet Workout. I've seen it and am trying it out. At this weight and size, just moving arms and legs is exercise, and know it's achievable. I got the DVD from my morbidly obese mother in law and she got it for free online. And, Tyra.... that was terrible that you fed the food to all the girls first and refused to try it yourself. That was a HORRIBLE hit to their self-esteem. --which is big enough a problem for them right now. Jorge's idea for their new lifestyle might also be a terrible one. I've never heard of those foods. this means they're going to be quite difficult to find and likely highly expensive. Knowing this difficulty first-hand... It's a real problem, a major deterrent to a new lifestyle "doit". --which is a diet no matter how you paint it.

i think that every single one of you girls are absolutely beautiful!! People have no right to judge you because of how much you weigh. Its what is inside that makes you who you are! My boyfriend struggled with obesity for a long time in his life and he tells me all the emotional damage it has done. I think you girls are so strong and brave! I wish i could show you what a real friend and person is, not someone who judges before they even talk to you. Im very proud of all of you even though i dont know you! You're all so beautiful!!!

I AM SO SAD HEARING ABOUT THESE GIRLS THIS IS CRUEL TO BE SO EVIL TO OTHERS. WHY IS THE WORLD COMING TO SUCH A MEAN TIME? FUNNY THING IS PEOPLE MAKE FUN OF OTHERS BECAUSE OF THEIR ONLY INSECURITIES. I WANT TO SAY BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES AND SCREW EVERYONE THAT SAYS MEAN THING. I WISH I COULD GIVE ALL OF THE GIRLS HUGS! SERIOUSLY! I MAY BE SMALL ANS SKINNY MYSELF BUT I HAVE A HUGE HEART AND IT IS FULL OF LOVE TO SHARE WITH SO MANY PEOPLE! GOD BLESS THE GIRLS! -JACKIE
