tyra hope you read this cause im only 13 years old but when i was watching this particular show,i related to the13yearold girl beating her older sister.i have never done it.but i have thought about it.im also 13,im also the middle child,and my parents never notice me.All they notice is my older sis,and my younger sis.And my older sis has gottena piercing,cuase shes the oldest.and now i feel angry all the timel,and when i was hatching it.I was in shock!!! I just couldnt believe it!!!HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Teenage women are becoming more violent because its a way of showing male traits which are looked upon as more desirable in our society. If you think about it, if this were teenage boys it would be thought upon as normal and we wouldn't make such a big deal. But, because they are women, they are frowned upon for it. You have to look at it as a way of expressing equality for men and women. Because, before all the women's rights movements the things that they did to gain womens rights were looked down upon just as this is today. Only because it was thought as a male thing. So my point is this, these women want to be viewed as strong, independent women who are able to stand up for themselves. It's a heirarchy and this is their way of moving up and establishing themselves as strong women.
