Enough with the insanity already, ditch the dork and get your groove back.
If your recent dating track record is pockmarked with rejects -- like the guy who referred to his car as "she" -- it's time to do something to give you back your groove. Leave the losers in the dust with the "get your game back" plan.
Man Fast
A reason you might not be finding "Mr. Right," (but Mr. Pompous, Mr. Broke and Mr. Boring are in abundance,) is because you're not giving yourself enough time between boyfriends. If your past few relationships have been major duds, go on a short man fast. Step away from the dating circus for a month or two and you'll get a little perspective.
Get Serious
Ever notice that it's so much easier to see the lame qualities about a guy once it's over? If you learned to see them before it even begins, you're going to save yourself a lot of lame months. Remember that new relationships -- even ones that eventually go down the tubes -- start with a high. In the beginning, the newness is always nice, so remember to look past the excitement. He might whisper sweet nothings in your ear, but is he rude to his mom and sister? There's a red flag right there.
Break the Cycle
Maybe you just keep falling in with the same loser-y guy because it's comfortable. A very quick way to break this cycle is to chat with the people who got it right. If your bestie's fiancé is amazing and successful, don't be afraid to ask for the hook up. It might not score you your own bling, but at least it'll certainly break the comfort cycle.
