He might be harder to read than Shakespeare, but there are still ways you can figure out your new boyfriend without him spilling his guts. All it takes is a stroll through his room. Maybe he doesn't even notice that shirt draped over his chair, but to you that's a screaming sign that he's easy going.
Framed Pictures Say...
He's sentimental! A few photos of his nearest and dearest are a good sign that he's thoughtful and cares to remember the good times. It's a really good thing to have a smattering of pictures or even a photo album, but if the mementos overwhelm the room, he might also be too stuck in the past.
A Rug or Decorative Lamp Say...
If he's taken the time to spruce up his room with some "big boy" things, it shows he's acknowledging his becoming an adult. This goes double if he's ditched the Power Rangers sheets for some nice solid ones from Bed, Bath and Beyond.
A Plant Says...
Aw, he's nurturing! A little plant shows he does have the capacity to take care of something and care for its well being. And don't fret if that poor little plant isn't doing too well -- he might have been a little too busy to water it, but at least he didn't get a puppy!
