What's in store for the cast of the "Twilight" sequel?

Whew! It was a scary moment for us Twihards when we weren't sure if Taylor Lautner would be recast as Jacob Black. Because Jacob plays such a pivotal role in the upcoming second installment, the powers-that-be were concerned that Taylor wouldn't be able to fit the bulked-up version of Jacob we're about to see in "New Moon." And just how did Taylor respond to that? The dreamy star beefed up and will now definitely be gracing silver screens everywhere as the rough, tough new version of Jacob Black.

Anyone who's read the series knows that a whole new crop of important characters will make their debut in the second film, one of which is Leah Clearwater.

And who's rumored to be playing that part? There's talk of High School Musical cutie Vanessa Hudgens taking on the super important role.

I'm truly glad Jacob is being cast for New Moon, I mean he's such a good actor, plus he's really good looking. No one could ever take his place.

Im so glad we get to keep Taylor! He's such a perfect Jacob and he sincerly loves the Twilight Saga. He's pretty hot too -sigh- I think Vannessa can look the part, but i dont think she can act it. Leah requares a hardcore 'Im to good for you' kinda attitude. Its just a very different role then Vanessa has played so far, and Im not sure if shes up to it. Not to mention should could overshadow some very importent part to the movie. Im praying rumor, for the sake of the movie if nothing else.

im pretty sure the vanessa a.h. thing is a rumor, but it would be a surprise if she did well as leah clearwater wether shes in the new moon movie or the other 2. *ahem* i have to fight for taylor, cuz he is TOO FRIGGIN HAWT! i think he could play a good jacob, but we havent seen much of his acting skills for tht role yet. he'll always be hawt tho :P
