Yet another starlet rumored to join the Twilight sequel's cast.

With the super-hype that's surrounding the film version of the second book in the "Twilight" series, it's not surprising how many casting rumors are swirling around the internet. The latest one is a little out of left field but oddly- we think might work really well.

While the Vanessa Hudgens rumor might remain just that, this latest one has another starlet in the limelight for an extremely pivotal part in the upcoming sequel.

Who is rumored to be joining this time?

Dakota Fanning. The fifteen-year-old is rumored to be up for the role of "Jane." While this blonde cutie may seem like an odd fit for a move about vampires, the role is a very old, very creepy vampire from the shiver-worthy Volturi family. We're not sure about you, but us Twihards on Team Tyra are getting stoked.

I think Dakota wound be great for the part. As a fan of both the books and the movie, I want all characters as ACTING FIRST, LOOKS SECOND. SO what if they look perfect? If thye cant act, its no good. And No one can deny that Dakota can ACT. She also is very close to how Jane is described to be, and She no doubt can pull out some surprises in a new freaktastic role.

i think dakota fanning would be great for the role. i think yall need to stop hatin on her if you keep saying shed be good for the role. it doesnt matter if shes a disney star or not, shes still a good actress, and thts all tht should matter. look at how lindsay and brittany turned out. though they have fixed themselves, you wouldnt have thought they were disney stars. when she's older, she wont want to be known as the disney star, so just forget about that part. however, i do agree that vanessa a.h.'s rumor is just a rumor

I think that Vanessa would be great for the part because she has played all that romantic confusion stuff But Dakota Fanning seriously come on I mean like really don't ruin the movie have Hilary Duff or Ashley Tisdale,Emily Ozment or somebody but really Dakota Fanning if she is in the movie i won't go see it because she will just ruin it with her horrible acting skills

I honestly agree with Allie. They should use someone who isn't widely known and someone who really fits the part. If they use Dakota Fanning, she can play the part well, but she has starred in various movies before and the Twihards will probably not want a Disney Star to be starring in Twilight. I still believe in ALL NEW STARS!

I honestly think that they shouldnt use anyone whos to widely know for the Twilight series, I think they should stick with actors who aren't majorly known, I think it wont go well with the fans, and I dont think ratings would be good. I've read ALL the books and I definately do not want to see a disney star in any of these movies, when you read the books you pictures a sophisticated beautiful but evil vampire, not a teen looking vampire.
