all i have to say is that since 7th grade or so, we all knew that Kelli (Durfey) was going to go down this path in life. its sad when everyone asks you what school you go to, you respond "Midlothian" and their first reaction is "oh do you know Kelli Durfey?". she ran out of guys to sleep with, so she had to start sleeping with all of the girls too...

i think that tyra did everything right.it was the girls choice she is 18 and a adult. but as was siad in the show the parent should of help the girl understand that what she is doing is not right and try to help her go the other direction and go to college instead of were she was going. but i think that the people that are at fault are the father for not helping her go the right way and also the girl for not telling her father that she didnt want to doing it anymore and to help her find what she wants to do for her life.

This shock was as someone previously mentioned devious ( I don't know who is more devious Tyra or the Girls that were on the show). It is ALL exploitation--because sec sells. These girls are all attractive, but working a full time job takes courage and guts! No one is forcing anyone to do this for a living. Summer Verona needs to take more acting classes. SHe fooled a lot of viewers out there but not me! This was so staged, from the prostitute shoes she was wearing to how she comported herself when her pretend father walked in the room. She is a specimen of a woman (beautiful) and she wanted to make good use of national television for exposure. Or did you guys think that standing up in that red hoochie mama dress wastruly genuine...Hate to break it to you but it is called a "scripted moved on cue". Summer wants to find a real agent to represent her before her good lucks stop getting her in the door--Lord knows the two bleached blond bimbos are washed up(they are in that industry for life or until they get killed because they like the MONEY and the ATTENTION! Why the hell would a normal person go on national television and expose themselves like that_it's called I AIN'T GOT NO SHAME!

I think that he's the father, which means that he suppose to be the one telling her not to prostitue not forcing or introducing her into doing it. As far as her, she probably didn't have a choice to tell him that she didn't want to do it. If I was her, I would stay far away from him because he's not a good influence on her or her life at all.

Personally, I am a big fan of the Tyra Show and even have it set to record on my DVR but after viewing this episode, I am absolutely sick to death. I am appalled at the way in which the father was made out to be a monster. It is tru, he did in fact make an unorthodox parenting decision by assisting his daughter into the sex industry, buying her clothes, waxing her privates etc... but what about the sacrifice he made? Taek a look at this from this persperctive. He said that he did not WANT to help her at first. He even tried to sway her decision (need i remind u all that Christina aka summer agreed to that he tried to stop her) but she was determined to do it wehether she had his help or not. She went to him looking for a safe way to get her career managed. She turned to someone she trusted and rather than send her into the world, into the hands of a shark and a TRUE pimp! he swallowed his pride and maybe some sense and agreed with her. Throught the entire first segment of the show Christina plays up the role of victim and makes her dad out to be awful.( Tyra didnt do much better). I believe the father when he says that Christina used guilt to get her way and she is now flipping the script and leeching emotions from America. She proclaimed her desire in last season to be a prostitute but now that she is no longer involved in a lifestyle she thought was glamorous she is looking for someone to dump all the blame on. Tyra thank you so much for the show last night. It completly opened my eyes i am so glad that you decided to show the real world of the sex industry. Yes many people just think its money and power but after watching last nights show i realized that its an emptiness that money cannot buy or anything else because its never enough. I am so happy the girl that said she finally got out because she gave an example that when you just want to do it for a short while you will do it forver because the money is addicting. I feel that Christina "Summer Verona" is trying to play the victim role. I saw the first show that she was on. I looked her up online (under summer verona) and there's several videos of her on youtube. On one of the videos she was doing an interview and she told the interviewer that she knew that she wanted to do porn when she lost her virginity at 15. She also told him that college wasn't "for her". I feel that some of the blame should be placed on her step father, Rich because as a father figure he should've tried to discourage her from entering the business instead of becoming her manager. At the same time, some of the blame should also be placed on Christina. She was 18 when she entered the business, she knew what she was doing. She could have told him at any time that she wanted to quit. I think that the only reason she changed her mind on the show and started saying that it was creepy because of the reactions that tyra and the audience had. I happy that she quit the business because that's not a suitable job for anyone. I think that rich and christina needs to reevaluate themselves and admit that they were both wrong.
