How to learn from mistakes (instead of beating yourself up).
If everyone who ever made a seemingly fatal mistake beat themselves up forever over it, there wouldn't be anyone left to make amazing, world-changing things happen. No matter how big your boo-boo, once you have acknowledged your mistake, it's perfectly acceptable to move on. Here are a few seemingly unfixable situations that actually are, well, completely fixable.
You Cheated on a Boyfriend
The dude you actually cheated on may be unfortunately out of your life, but that doesn't mean you can't learn from it and make your next relationship flourish. Cheating usually stems from a problem in the relationship -- so next time, rather than letting it fester and cause you to drift apart with you man, promise yourself that you will identify it and address with your guy the mature way.
You Failed a Class
Even though your GPA may never fully recover, failing actually teaches you the right things to do by showing you what not to do. Now you'll know to plan ahead and also how important succeeding is to you.
You Ruined a Friendship
If you dissed a friend big time and now she's no longer interested in being buds with you, don't lament forever -- that will only get in the way of your other friendships. A lost friendship can show you the kind of friend you want to be, as well as the kind of BFFs you'd like to have in your life.
