We can complain all we want, but America is Opportunity... Bums have a choice to go to a homeless shelter and then find a job...They can't do that in Africa. We have free schools, good water, cheap food...but we still complain. Just because you are struggling to pay your rent, still doesn't mean anything...If you don't have enough money for rent, how about you end this internet service for extra money. We complain too much, when we already have everything.

I totally agree with all of you, but I still say that we need to get pur own country together before we can contribute to others. That's like someone asking me for help when knowing well I need to pay my rent. I'm not going to risk my own for someone else. I need to make sure I'm straight first. That's all I'm saying.

Alicia Keys is so awesome. She is the most down to earth, humble human being I've had the pleasure of meeting. She has a genuine concern for others. More celebrities need to be as caring as she is.

Hey! Just to give an answer to Claudia's comment. You can always do something and I totally agree with Georgette, what seems little here can be huge there. I come from Cameroon and believe me, it is real! For example to help a child like Noah it just take one person that gives 1$/day and that gives drugs to keep him or her alive and also nutrition. Maybe you really don't have any money but as you said you have time and skills. You can organize fundraisers where you live, get people involved, spread the word, ask people to text ALIVE to 90999 for a 5$ donation. You can find some ideas at www.keepachildalive.org ...If you are a student you can start a chapter at you school! You can see what other chapters in North America and the UK do and find some inspiration: Go to www.kcacollege.com ...To inspire others you can also screen the wonderful, inspirational and free documentary "Alicia in Africa: Journey to the motherland" by going to the website www.aliciainafrica.com I hope it helps! Tyra, today's show was very moving and touching for all of your audience. You had me crying most of the time! But I don't feel that this episode is enough to send a clear message. I believe that it would be great if you dedicated a whole episode on the Invisible Children of Africa. I know when I saw the documentry I was all choked up in tears. I would really appreciate it if you made this a possible episode in the future. Please email me back.

I really loved this show, because it does make people think outside of thier own life. Its great when people with more then others give to good causes. Allthough I have to agree with the statment before, WHAT ABOUT AMERICA? There are so many kids, and people who need help here. I know the good o'll USA has water, food and other natural resorses at our fingertips, but theres still alot that can be done. Ofcorse theres still people with money in America, but there always will be. People like you or Alica, and yall do well to give back. I think your a very intellegent woman TYRA and I aplod you for your work. I myself just had twins 3 months ago, and my hus. is the only one that works right now. We live in a 2 bedroom, and i still give back. I donate to the SPCA, because I just love animals. Thers to many at the spca's, and the pounds thier having trouble feeding them. I also give (when I have extra) to ST. JUDE. I think we could all help out a little. Even just by recycling.

Hi Tyra I saw your show today, and I am very touched. Most of us do take for granted what we have and how blessed we are to have jobs and are able to afford what we have today. Yes the economy isn't the best right now. But if we are able to afford starbucks, shopping, & eating out we should be able to help those in need within the USA & those who are in other parts of the world.

Alicia keys, Tyra you guys are wonderful people. Noah Rock.... I don't understand the lyric but i love the song. I love his performance, this kid got talent... I would love to see a video... Noah has a great spirit... Gob Bless you Noah, you are a great inspiration

Great Job ... God bless you I love Noah's song. That kid is full of energy. His song can make it big...
