I don't know how to put this but I was "nominated" at school to attend a leadership program in Washington D.C and I would really like to go but I don't have the funds. I think its wonderful what alicia is doing,here in our own country the lines of our food banks are getting longer.People are loosing there jobs,homes,they cant heat their homes. The goverment wants us to feed our children 4 fruits and vegetables a day,its just not possible.Children without coats homelessness is on the rise,there are more families in homeless shelters now than ever before.People ar e lossing there health care.This season as you write out your check to the charity of your choice drop an extra dollar into that salvation army bell ringers pot,buy an extra can good for that basket in the market ,donate a shopping gift certificate to your local food bank,anything can be comquered as we do it together end the hunger.

Claudia did you read my whole 1st comment? Because I wrote what you can do if you don't have money but you have skills and time. No having money doesn't mean you cannot help. Some people can have money and don't know what to do while some don't have money and know what to do. That's the reason why we should all come together to solve those kind of issues! I believe each one has a part to do. And again please read my frist comment :)
