The best curative creams -- all from the corner drugstore!

best_cream_for_dry_skin.jpgThe harsh winter weather doesn't just make going outside like braving the frozen tundra, it also makes skin dryer than the Mojave. You don't have to hit up the finest boutiques to get your skin back in smooth shape -- all it takes is a trip to the drugstore. Snag one of these pharmacy faves and nurse your poor skin back to health.

Lubriderm Intense Skin Repair Moisturizing Body Lotion ($6.99)
When times -- and skin -- get really rough, Lubriderm is the perfect solution. This one helps scratch the itch that comes along with your scaly skin.

Olay Body Quench Therapy Body Lotion ($6.99)
Oil of Olay is trusted for your fab face, so you can definitely trust it to smother all your chappy skin.

Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion Total Moisture ($3.89)
Sometimes, when your winter woes get seriously out of control, the best people to help are the good folks at Vaseline.

Aveeno Intense Relief Repair Cream ($12.99)
Aveeno is awesome at preventing your skin from getting out of control, but should you find yourself ill-prepared, it is also good at helping bring your skin back to life.

Jergens Ultra Healing Lotion ($3.79)
In an emergency, this lotion absorbs in a jiffy and restores your skin to its once-upon-a-time softness.

Silicone Glove Hand Cream ($3)
Okay, so you can't find it at your neighborhood drugstore, but you can track down your neighborhood Avon lady. This hand cream's healing powers are so magical, we're convinced the secret ingredient is pixie dust.

I use vaseline total moisture lotion and baby oil gel mixed together. Use it as soon as you get out of the shower and it keeps your skin soft and smooth all day.

The best lotion I've ever ever used is St. Ives 24 hour Moisture. You can get it at Wal*Mart or drugstores and it's only like $5! Best $5 I've ever spent!

i put babyoil on in the shower right before i get out while there is still water on my body b/c that helps keep the moisture in and then when u dry off dont rub hard just pat the water off ur skin gently, the baby oil does not leave ur skin feeling greasy or oily just baby soft....
