NEXT: "Biggest Loser" Book Collection

Honestly, those girls that think that television is one of the reasons they are pregnant are very stupid girls. The people on TV didn't make them go out get drunk and have unprotected sex with some random loser. They are the ones that went out. They had unprotected sex. They should take full responsibility for their stupid mistake and stop blaming TV.

i think that the teens that went on were great for going on and representing so many pregnant teens, however being a teenage mother myself, i disagree on the fact that tv has a BIG influence on us. The tv shows may have influenced curiosity, however it was MY actions that had caused my new challenges. I had my daughter, paige, when i was 15 a month shy of being 16. I went to a school for young parents in order to finish high school and in my junior year i shied away from school again and i got pregnant for the second time. I was seventeen, a high school drop out and had a beautiful one year old and had a baby boy on the way. i chose to get back into school, and i finished with a high school diploma 4 months earlier than my graduating class, and on top of it i always had a gpa of 3.8. when i heard those girls say that it is hard and you cant do anything and you loose all your friends, its true. Ya its hard to go out, but i get to go do things with my family, and yes, it is hard to loose all your friends, but if you loose them its because they dont understand or want to understand what your going through. You do find other friends though who relate to you, and are in the same position as you are. life is tough, but its that much more worth it when you look in your childrens eyes. I love my children and when i got pregnant i realize i had to grow up, and thats what you have to do. Dont complain cause you cant do anythign and you have to sit around.

I just watched the girls talk about how they think that if they didn't see those shows on tv they wouldn't have done the things that they did. That shocks me. I've been watching Real World and all those kinds of shows for many years and im only 19 and I haven't gone and done any of that stuff. It is a personal choice to do those things. Many of my friends like to party all the time and I can go out and not get caught up in the "fun" of it all. How you are raised is a HUGE part of it. Reading through some of the comments left just kinda shows how sheltered people think kids should be. I'm from a small town and I have been well informed about the on-goings of life and the repercutions of sex and drugs. All these things are a part of life and need to be talked about by the parents even if it is a uncomfortable subject. All these things might be in tv but it is the person who is watching to make the right choices for themselves and not do it to be "popular". It is a insecurity that many people have and it makes me sad to know the lengths kids will go to be "well-liked".

I just saw the show.....all I can say is WOW!!!!...those girls need to watch less of Rock of Love and Gossip Girl and focus more on school. I certainly hope they grow up and pay more attention in school. They sound every bit of STUPID....Everybody wants to blame Somebody. It is time to stop the blaming and start the taking responsibility for our own actions. If those girls want to blame someone, they should look in the mirror. They basically did what they wanted to do. They wanted to drink and have sex and now they have babies to take care of. I bet the fathers of the babies are no where to be found. Grow up little girls, and don't do grown up things when you still have a mind of a child.

Those two girls that came on your show today and said, to paraphrase, that it's tv's fault that they're pregnant, are for lack of better words, are stupid. They are of age to know that what they do, will ultimately affect them.

Although I gotta give credit to those 2 girls on Tyra's show for taking responsibility for their actions by going through with their pregnancies, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that they're blaming the TV shows that they watch for supposedly influencing them to go and have sex ( unsafe sex, mind you ). They're 17 years old. That is more than old enough to think for yourself.

ok anyone who is blaming a tv show for getting pregnant is just some one looking for attention. if your having sex at such a young age you should of at least known to use a condom. come on it takes to seconds for a guy to roll one on. today we are learning in school all about safe sex because so many girls are getting preg. they were getting preg before the tv shows and they will still get preg after the show realy isnt to blame lets get real now

What happened to accoutability? Taking responsibility for ones action. Kids today blaming everything/everyone.

Tyra- I'm 16. This seems so silly to me. You can't blame your own irresponsible decisions on a T.V. show. Thats like saying "I watched Kyle XY and that's why I started believing in extra terrestrials". Its ridiculous. Like I said, I'm 16; I go to a high school with over 2,000 students. I have never, EVER heard anything this silly in my life. T.V. shows are just that, T.V. shows, people are crazy to say that it's T.V.'s fault that they got pregnant. They were the ones to make the decisions, T.V. didnt impregnate them. -Olivia

Although I agree that tv shows may make sex seem more appealing, I think it comes down to these girls should be smart enough to realize that it's just television and that even most reality shows are just fiction. I've always known, as Tyra said, that most teen shows depict the negatives to sex and drugs. I think that if someone is willing to see these shows as reality and try to immitate it, then they're pretty stupid. And if they do fall victim to such a way of thinking, then at least be smart enough to use protection. It's one thing to be sucked into the fictional tv world for an hour or so, but it's another to try to make that world a reality - and it doesnt always have a happy ending. And this is coming from a 17-year-old girl.

Tyra, So i am sitting here watching your show and i am yelling at the t.v. those two girls you have on there need to grow up. I t.v. show does not give you permision to go and have sex and party and if you watch any of those shoes they don't show them doing anything but kissing and moving under the covers. So you real never know what they are doing.

Whether or not you believe that TV made these girls have sex, I definitely need to applaud Sara and Natalie for something. They both decided to take responsibility for their actions instead of ending their pregnancies. I think it's disgusting the number of girls I know who have been pregnant 4-5 times and have aborted every child. I am pro choice, but I think that it's dispicable the number of girls who would rather use abortion than brith control. Thank you girls for showing what it's like for taking responsibility for your children and your actions.

Are you kidding me?! I think it's absolutely ridiculous these girls are blaming TV for their pregnancy. Wear a condom! Use birth control! I DO NOT understand, it's these girls total responsibility.

i believe that we shouldnnt be blaming pregnancy and among other things to this shows im 21 years old and ive been watching one tree hil and all these shows and im 21 years old and i havent get pregnant everyone has to take responsability for their actions shouldnt be blaming anyone shows for it

Dear Tyra, Hmmm, are you a bad girl, because I just saw comments for the girls on your show that sounds like they were manipulated. Are we no bias no bull? This is just an observation of what the girls wrote about your producers. If we want the world to be real, we need to be real! have a good one. Think about it. Des
