absolutely not i believe its an excuse for us and older people really want to believeits the television and not thier parenting skills its an easy way out for parents who has a child do things like they do on some tv shows... if it was because of tv why don't we walk around acting like oprah you bush obama or any other positive things if we were the credit would go parents then hope ou get were i'm going with this but i feel its a sorry excuse and we need to live up to the things we do :0 love your show
I don't think TV show that is basically showing wat goes on in a teen every day life is da cause of so many teens having sex n having babies. The TV show r jus showing da pros n cons. Cuz dey have all types of teens da smart one, the nerdy one, slutty one n so on but dats 2 show da consequences ur actions have on every decision u make. Is ur choice 2 go out n do da same thing n den c urself caught up in da same situation is not like u didn't c it coming.Plus blaming on a show for showing u wats real makes u look fake 4 lieying 2 urself u did it cuz u wanted 2.
I do think that watching sexy influnces series changes girl personalies such as Gossip girl, Sex and the City.Also you become very addicted to it and you start watching it repeatively.
i do/dont think tv shows influnece girls just because a girl on a tv show having sex dont a girl have to go out n have sex. but did agian girls dat r rasied differnet might go out n hav sex. but i watch gossip girl and 90210 n only thing those shows keep watching it because of the fashion im going to go do drugsw because i rich white girl is doing it just not the type of person i am....

Tyra let me tell you something I am 18 years old I got raped when I was 13 and got pregnant lost the baby then at 15 got pregnant again and lost that baby then again at 16 lost that baby too 5 months ago I lost another baby, you spend a lot of your time looking down and judging teens but you need to look at yourself you don't have any children nor did you go through the things that some of us teens go through. I agree with tiffany I miss my babies everyday and cry over them you are not making anything any better by bashing out on teens and calling them dumb yes we make mistakes but if I recall you was a teen once and did some bad things in your life too your not telling the whole story but yet you can be in other people business mind your own tyra you need to, and a little word on protection it isn't 100% because I was on birth control and I used a condom still got pregnant some times something goes wrong and by the way you can still get an std from a condom stop excluding that you need to talk about real issues and what condoms can give you because they're not all that safe either do your freaking research you make me angry with you
I had my daughter at 18, so i am a young mom but t.v. is not a source of blame. I look back (im 22) and i think that when i was in high school people were trying to fit in and be cool and have interesting stories to tell there friends, or looking for someone to give them self esteem so maybe that is why they make the choices they do. Peer pressure is a big factor in a lot of things these days. I never had a cliche to fit into and didn't try to but it didn't mean i wasnt curious about their lives or what they did. I just believe you can only take responsibilty for your own actions and t.v. is just entertainment.
i dont think tv shows make girls have babys i think the pressure of being wanted does. i have a son but i didnt get pregnant because i watched a show i got pregnant because i had sex and wasnt thinking at the time. people that blame every thing on tv are wrong its the way you are reaised determands what will happen...

Hey this is Tiffany, to answer some of your questions no im not a teen mom and mary i dont think that you got the point of their decision not being a mistake. and to maddie, if you really knew danielle then you would know that her mom doesnt watch logan all the time she only watches him when danielles at school bettering her education so she can provide a better life for her son. and for those of you that thought i was blaming t.v i most certainly was not. i was just simply stating the facts. so let me ask you a question do you ask your parents if your boyfriend can come over so you can have sex? no, you dont tell your parents everything, parents may give their children the sex talk and every other talk you can think of but all in all its the childs decision and what influences they surround themself with. Danielle is the most selfless person that i know, she does everything for her son. so before you start judging think if you were in that situation.

I do NOT believe that TV causes you to have sex hormones do. And also, these girls are far from stupid. I think that ppl need to mind their own business. The only reason either of these girls went on the show was to meet what they thought was a good person. And to tell other girls, and show other teen girls who are sexually active to be careful. Because the stuff you see on tv rearely shows a charater getting pregnant, just the fun stuff that leads to it. And whoever, this Maddie is if you claim to know Danielle than you wouldn't be saying stuff about her mom watching her son. The only time her mom watches her son is when she's in school, bettering her education to set a good life for him. And her mom doesnt have to watch him she does it out of love for her daughter and her grandson.

well i think it is dumb to blame being pregnant on tv but you at the same time it does influence and as far as people making comments about "those" girls i happen to know one them and i know for a fact that they arent living off the government the parents are both getting or have jobs and people really need to think about what they say before they accuse because it makes you look ignorant and stupid
OMFG!! this is the dumbest thing i have ever heard in my life. when i saw the show that had the two girls saying that a show made them get pregnet i had to laugh in disbelief. The only thing that can get a girl pregnet is lack of education. so many girls now are getting pregnet because they think its the "cool" thing to do, and those girls get all the help from the government. those girls should realize that the only people that they can blame for their pregnancy is themselves. the tv didnt tell them to have sex. They should know better and should have made that boy put on the condom or they could have gotten birthcontrol. this is something that i feel so strong about. young girls trying to get pregnet and thinking that its ok. i cant believe how stupid and "uncool" they really are!!!!!
