JT surprises Beyoncé on "Saturday Night Live"!
The fabulous Beyoncé was the musical guest this past weekend on "Saturday Night Live" and treated us to both If I Were a Boy and Single Ladies. While we were expecting all kinds of Beyoncé goodness, we didn't expect Justin Timberlake to show up!
The singer -- who has been a funny-man fave on the show since 2006 when he surprisingly had us all rolling with laughter -- showed up during Weekend Update. As an apology for not being able to host the show as planned, JT stuck around for a sketch of two -- and in one of them, he was a backup dancer for Beyoncé!
Wearing not much more than a unitard and some heels, Justin stayed in sync with the diva as they recreated the Single Ladies video. We LOVE people who don't take themselves too seriously -- and Beyoncé obviously loved it too. She was even impressed with his hot dance moves.
In other "SNL" news, now that cast fave Amy Poehler has left the show to raise her new baby, Archie, the show will be home to two new funny ladies. Could Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins be the new Amy Poehler and Tina Fey? They come to us from well-known improv troops, the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Groundlings, so we're thinking their chances are good -- though those are some pretty big high-heel shoes to fill!
