The season finale brought girl fights galore and plenty of man drama to go around!
When Lisa convinced Kim and Sheree to come to a dinner party where all five housewives could get together to clear the air, we knew it would be trouble. Especially when Kim called Nene a "drag queen." Ouch.
Spoiler alert! If you somehow missed the housewife drama, don't read on.
Of course, the dinner was oh-so-awkward as the housewives met and their husbands (poor guys!) sat through the painful train-wreck of a meal. NeNe confronted Kim right off the back about how quickly Kim turned her back on her rather than coming to her to talk about their issues. "You look absolutely ridiculous," NeNe told Kim. "This is very high school."
NeNe's husband, the apparent voice of reason in the group, took charge to tone down the cat scratching. "This is not worth it," he says. "I really, really, genuinely think that if certain individuals can take the time away from everything to really sit down and have meaningful dialogue, you will see that 99 percent of the stuff that you were fed didn't emanate from the source." His words helped ... kind of. The former besties agreed to discuss their issues over a glass of wine -- a meet-up that STILL hasn't happened!
But the show wasn't all about the frenemy drama. There was news on the man front as well. Where to start? Kim and Big Papa broke up -- no we'll never meet Big Papa! We also found out that DeShawn's husband, NBA player Eric Snow, is retiring because of an injury. And then there was the matter of the new man in Sheree's life -- one our "Project Runway" faves.
After Sheree's new line of clothing, She by Sheree, got off to a rough start (remember the fashion show with no fashion?), Sheree called in the big guns to help her get the line back on track. Atlanta-based "Project Runway" finalist Mychael Knight stopped by to give her some tips on making the line fierce. And the man did not hold back! He got real with Sheree, telling her that she needed to be more hands on with her pieces if she wants to be successful.
Speaking of success, Kim had an oh-so-uncomfortably phone call with Dallas Austin, who essentially did everything he could to try to scare her out of becoming a country singer -- including telling her that she would have to get serious, quit smoking and drinking and run three miles a day while singing. But Kim didn't get the hint. Instead, she decided to quit smoking to save her untrained singing voice. "It's a God-given talent and I'm destroying it," she said.
As for the rest, we'll just have to wait for the season recap show to see how the women are getting along after the show. But given the snippets we've seen of the next episode, things aren't looking so hot for that NeNe-Kim reconciliation.
You tell us: Do you think Kim and NeNe will ever be able to patch things up?
