Tyra, i am one of those girls people will tell is pretty, but can never feel it herself. I am someone who needs to prove it herself to feel it. However, all i have been proven so far in my life is how to feel worthless and very un-pretty. The shortest version of my story is that i was the victim of sexual abuse when i was a child. I grew up always feeling different, out of it, but never really knowing why. Next, i found what its like to be the daughter of an alcoholic step father and the fear that can cause for you just to go home everyday. In my teen years i have been abused again. Now Verbally and mentally. I was trapped by this guy and couldnt escape the relationship. I tried commiting suicide. I went to a behavioral center and found how tragic such a place can be to someone. I continue in counseling and have been prescribed numerous meds by a psychiatrist. With all this, i have issues daily of not feeling beautiful. I need to prove i am. To Everyone. To all who have hurt me. But especially to myself. Can you please help me?

tyra why dont you do a top model on women who are not skinny? I am a new mother and grew up in foster care I left when I turned 18 and came to where I live now got a great job being a dialysis tech and found my husband. I am overweight and have always been overweight but have aways wanted to be a model not for my body but for my eyes and face. I have never been happier but I wanna feel better about myself, and look better for my husband and my daughter. If you have any suggestions that might help me please let me know. p.s. how do you feel about families that have one american parent and one illegal parent?

hay tyra, i seen casting audtions are already starting for cycle 13. tyra i found out that iam 4 months pregant. i feel like i really missed out on a opportunity that will not come again. tyra iam 5'4 and it breaks my heart to know that this was my only chance to really presue my dream. i have two little boys already and they just want to see mommy do better. tyra i wanted to know will you have a height requirment for cycle 14. tyra please please please let me know. i'm expecting in august. to tell you the truth i was really just gonna go to the auditions and take a chance. is worth it ? or should i wait???? unexpected time, orlando fla.

I am so happy that you dedicated today's show to abusive relationships. It is so vital that all females, especially teen girls, are educated about the various forms of abuse. It was obvious from comments made by the audience that many of these young women did not understand or grasp that abuse is not just physical. Emotional and verbal abuse can at times cause more trauma to victims and it is so important that they open their eyes to this. Thank you for giving victims of abuse a voice.

Hey Tyra, I dont know if you actually read these, when would you have time??? :) But, I was just wondering, I know you are doing the cycle 13 for 5'7" and under, have you thought or have had someone ask about doing a cycle for "older" models to be commercial models? I know they have the "She's Got the Look," show, But wouldnt it be great to have that and get a contract with Ford's commercial division! How cool would that be?? just a thought...

Hey Tyra I just watched the premier of the new cycle 12 of America's Next Top Model and at the end of the show you announced that you were accepting models 5'7" and under. I was just wondering if the next cycle is the only cycle that you were looking for short models or is there other cycles in the future that will be offering this great oppertunity. I would also like to know how I can sign up the next cycle.

OUR NEW PRESIDENT IS NOT JUST BLACK AND HE IS NOT ALL THAT HE IS BECAUSE HE IS BLACK HE IS ALL THAT HE IS BECAUSE OF HIS UPBRINGING AND HIS BELIEF SYSTEM. THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN DOES NOT MAKE HIM A BETTER PRESIDENT. PRESIDENT OBAMA AS A WHOLE PERSON IS WHAT MAKES HIM A BETTER PRESIDENT. I REALIZE THAT IT IS A HUGE DEAL TO HAVE OUR FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT. Hello Tyra! How r u! I'm actually from Dayton Ohio!! Me and my sister are both living at home and we are helping my mother and are step-dad through hard economic times. In June, My dad had a mild-heartattack and he got placed on kidney dialyisis and he is on disability and can't work anymore,My Mom is a school teacher trying to make ends meet, and we are just dealing with alot of home repair issues (water heater, plumbing, roofing) you can imagine!! Tyra I'm currently at college and working on my Master's degree and just so hard on my family!
