Seven Must, Must, Must Reads for Teens.

bookgirl3.jpgNot all books are back-to-school borrrrring. (We swear!) So before class is back in session and you're forced to read books you're sooo not into, give these amazing reads a looksy. You won't be sorry. We pinkie promise!

"Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer. The newest novel in the "Twilight" series is a steamy saga stocked with vain vampires. It'll leave you dying for more!

"Violet in Private" by Melissa Walker. What's it like to be a teen model? Just ask Violet. She's fab, fierce and secretly freaked out about regular high school drama (when she's not rocking the runways in NYC).

"Death by Bikini" by Linda Gerber. Aphra Behn Connolly has a killer life -- kicking it on a tropical island, meeting hot boys and, oh yeah, solving murders. Her most recent case involves a rock star's girlfriend who gets strangled by her own bikini. (Owwww!)

"Wake" by Lisa McMann. Seventeen-year-old Janie lives a fantasy life -- literally. She's cursed by getting secretly sucked into other people's dreams. But now she's knotted up in a nightmare she can't escape.

"The Explosionist" by Jenny Davidson. Set in a boarding school in spooky Scotland, this mystery rewrites the history books. Now the fate of the school -- and all of Europe -- is in the hands of 15-year-old Sophie and her spirit friends.

"The Curse of Addy McMahon" by Katie Davis. Addy is a spunky sixth-grader who's certain she's cursed, especially after she accidentally emails her diary to the entire school. This book will leave you giggling ... and gorging on Addy's goofy comic illustrations.

I am so ecstatic that you featured the Twilight Saga on your list. They are a great read but be forewarned.... they are VERY VERY addicting. I admit that I've never been addicted to anything in my entire life. That is until the day I picked up the Twilight books. Talk about obsession and total takeover. It was all I could think about. I eat, sleep, and breathe Twilight! It is sooo AMAZING! I recommend it to anyone and everyone who likes to read or don't like to read. Give it a shot. You won't be disappointed. Trust.

I so happy u put the twilight series up here I LOVED it. Im suprised at how big it got b/c i became a fan before it was cool. Imma going to have 2 check out these books. And i think you should do your own book club type things for all of us out there who love to read. It seems Im surrounded by reading haters(i have a few reading freinds who are obsessed with reading 2) but its nice when you can always find bibliphiles and can discuss and recommend books wirh

i love the twilight series, they were so good that i read all 4 books in under a week & they're all like over 500 pages each, lol. i haven't read any of these other books, but i might check them out, now. =)

The Twilight series are seriously the most amazing books ever. Even if you don't like fantasy books (I don't), you will not be able to put these books down!
