ALSO TYRA SAID Some of the other black models she invited COULD NOT MAKE IT SO DON'T GET YOUR PANTIES IN A BUNCH..AND WHAT THE HELL IS "LOOK BLACK" Black women look different and she had a very beautiful chocolate sista up there

OH PLEASE PEOPLE...Who is 100% anything in this damm country..the point is being Black doesn't just mean of african ancestry it can be a mix of things but we still identify as black and THOSE MODELS ARE STILL SEEN/TREATED AS BLK SO IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE, IT WAS MOSTLY ALL WHITE WOMEN ON THE RUNWAYS...THE TERM WOMEN OF COLOR I GUESS MIGHT BE BETTER, And there are plenty of Black women here who look like them.

SHUT YOUR IGNORANT BUTT UP.....First of all the only ones with crazy make-up was tyra and Beverly johsnon and the rest were just light skin fool..and as you saw tyra in the tub you see she is naturally lighter actually lighter then the make-up she had on

Thank you, Tyra!!! Showcasing Black Vogue was my favorite show EVER! Black women are so beautiful, and I appreciate you and Vogue for sharing that beauty with the world. I wanted a copy so bad, that I was willing to pay anything. But $95? I meant more along the lines of $10, so I will enjoy it from afar. lol. Loving your new season, Tyra. Your hair is fierce, but what is with the white highlight in your T-zone (pun noted) and under the eyes? Too much makes your foundation look ashy. Golden highlights (with your skin tones) will be much more flattering. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Tyra ..I loved the show and I was really happy to see the beautiful black women representing the void in the industry with grace and poise. I just love Stacey McKenzie, she's so unique and she also represents the Canadian/Jamaican girls!!!!!. The only thing I thought was a little juvenile or inappropriate to say was the 'New Meat'comment you made to Chanel Iman. I could tell she was a bit slighted when you asked her 'how it felt to be the new meat'. I just felt that maybe you could of worded the question another way or just not mention it at all. I loved the episode, it was so inspirational ... and i still love ya Tyra! Blush

Dear Tyra i have been a big fan of yours. seeing this show really makes me love you more. I have always dreamed of becoming a model people tell me i have the height and i have a good attitude at first i didn't believe them now i do and it is because of you every day i look in the mirror i see beautiful. Thank you so much you have been an inspiration and a motivation to me. I will like to be just like you when i grow up. My one wish in life is to meet you and hopefully i do. I love you so much and i know that a lot of other young girls do to. So don't worry about the bad things people say about you because you're real fans will never believe until they hear it from the horses mouth. I have grown so much since watching both your shows i now give advice to other young girls and try to help them with self esteem issues. Once again thank you. You are my favorite celebrity even over Oprah. Tyra you don't have to do anything else you are the role model of all time and lastly you are FIERCE!!!

Hi Tyra, I think your show is just wonderful. Don't worry about the bad things that people say. It's all just a part of life. At least your topics help to get people talking. Please tell me how I can get a copy of (Vouge Italy July 2008) the magazine that you was talking about on your show. I tried finding it around where I lived but I was unable to get a copy. I even tried to go on line at Vouge to back order it.

Tyra this show was so inspiring to me! I recently wrote to your show about one of your upcoming topic "do you deserve for your dream to come true" and my biggest dream Is becoming a model! So seeing all the black models old to the new bought tears to my eye. I cried though out the entire show. especially when you gave Iman a puzzle piece necklace...Tyra do you know what I would do for one of them. This show really taught me not to give up on my drems even if I'm rejected to never give up. Even the one model (I can't remember her name) that went to elite model management and the lady that was in your audience said she was beautiful and went and faught for her to become part of the agency! That was aewsome...I'm looking for something as awsome as that to happen n my life! Tyra I love the fact that you give your mom so much props for all she has done with your career ( and she is a beautiful lady!!)The iltalian Vogue is amazing! after watching the show I'm considering purchases one for myself!! But this show was more than amazing to me...I tvo all of your shows daily but I scheduled this show to stay on my tvo list LONGER! LOL

Hi Tyra, I have never before written a comment on ANY of these websites but as I sit here and watch your show today I just had to write one. All the ladies on the show are beautiful and same with the women in the audience, the only thing that I am thinking is that the other day you did a show on skin bleaching and i can't help but notice that most of the beautiful black models that you have on your show look VERY lite colored and some even have blonde hair. Actually a couple of them didn't look black to me at all. Do you think that this is one of the reasons that so many black women feel that lighter skin is better, just the fact that most black models are lighter? I just feel that you kinda re-inforced the feelings from the women on your skin bleaching show by this show! I wish that there were more BEAUTIFUL DARK skined black models. I really hope that this doesn't offend anyone, I just wanted to write my opinion! I still think all the ladies were BEAUTIFUL, but they would have been just as beautiful if they were darker skinned with darker hair (like Jessica White and Tokara...sorry about the spelling :)

I'm very proud of Tyra for having a show celebrating black models. It was very uplifting. For the people complaining about the fact that the show focused of black models, they stated many times that no one should be rejected for anything because of their race, gender, etc. This just focused on black models because like it or not, they're most likely treated the worst/least likely to get the job, plus it's nice to be the POSITIVE focus of attention for once. My only problems with the show were that fact that yes, few of the models on stage looked very "black". There should have been more models showing that black skin is beautiful. Even if we look past that (which in a way we could), everyone on the stage was so incredibly fake. All the weave and the blonde hair coloring was driving me insane. If we're going to have a show about black models, why don't we celebrate natural black models instead of those "dolled up" to look like white, Latin, and Asian women.

Hi Tyra, I really enjoyed your show today. I also enjoyed the show about the allopicca girl and women who have it. My daughter is suffering also from this disease every sence she was 10 or 12 and needs some help. She also looks up to you and wants to some day model. I believe that she is ful of spirit and will exceed in any challenge given to her. She is my role model for being so strong! Tyra maybe she can come on your show and see what it takes to be a model. You know dreams do come true if you only believe! God bless you, Jeiel, The NEXT TOP MODEL!

Hmm, I found todays show extremely offensive. Majority of those "black" models were CLEARLY not 100% black. I myself am of mixed ethnicities including black and feel that people should celebrate who they are, ALL of who they are. Give credit where it's due, it's not just their "blackness" that makes them beautiful its a mix of all their different cultures. I am truly diasappointed and feel that this show was a sad representation of "black" models. Is being bi-racial, mixed, etc, so bad? Why do we have to be labeled as one thing?
