MESSAGE FROM TYRA SHOW: Backstage at Fashion Rocks!

tyra Hi y'all,

You all know how much I love hanging out and keeping it low key with friends or going to see the latest movie to hit the big screen, but last night was different. I went to the taping of Fashion Rocks, which is a big celebration combining fashion and hot music. Plus, the night helps benefit a great cause -- cancer research.

As you know, season four of the talk show starts Monday (I am SO EXCITED, we have SO MANY big things planned), so I went to Fashion Rocks to present and talk to the media about the new season. I wore a gorgeous (and comfortable) Gucci red jersey wrap dress with a Dolce & Gabbana belt and a pair of fierce gold strappy sandals (not as comfortable as the dress). The outfit was designer, but all vintage, from old collections. That's my new thing -- vintage fashion. I wear mostly vintage dresses on the talk show for season four too! Even my jewelry was all vintage on the red carpet. The pieces reminded me of my mama's jewelry when I was young. The fabulous (and stylish) Robert Verdi was covering the red carpet as a correspondent for the Tyra Show, when he saw me he said "Lions and Tyra and bears, oh my!" cuz my hair was SO big.

Denis Leary hosted the night that included performances from Beyonce (hey B!), Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and so many great artists. I saw Miley and she was SO CUTE! I told her I'm coming to her birthday party and she got super excited. Then I chatted with Beyonce about an idea for covering her world tour in Paris (y'all know how much I LOVE that city!) and her mom Tina came over to say hi too. They both looked amazing. I saw Chris Brown too. I told him I LOVE his song DREAMER and that I play it non-stop. That song makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. He thanked me soooo much and said it made him feel so good to hear that because he wrote it. It was such a fun night and you can watch everything that happened when Fashion Rocks airs on CBS Tuesday night (September 9th.)

Don't forget to tune in Monday for the first episode of season four of the talk show!! I can't believe another season is already starting on MONDAY!!! We have a lot of surprises for you, including something we've NEVER done before -- you won't want to miss it! And if you're into fashion, Friday September 19th we're taking over fashion week with tons of exclusive behind-the-scenes moments. This is going to be a GREAT year!

hi tyra i see ur show evryday well i'm 13 years old and i watch ur show america next top madle..well i got a quetion to tell you when you said you hav to be 5"2 or 5"7 will itz not fair for people who are really liitle (megets) i thinks thats not rite when i hear dat i got mad cuz i have friends dat are little bt older than and they lots there hopes because of dat they think the can;t do anything cuz of there size ... well g2g hope 2 meet u somday bye

Dear Tyra, first, I love you and your show so much. I am from Qatar and watch your show on Dubai ONE TV.Long ago, I watched an episode of women bleaching them selves to become lighter. It realy shocked me, not because they want to be lighter but because of the "bleach" they're using on their skin and there kids too. And I feel very resposible to tell that I had a (Kidney Failure) when I was 18 years old because of that toxic bleach. I used the bleach when I was 13 years old on my face only to lighten the very small non visible facial hair and on rare occasions. But after several years, I had a kidney failure and thank God I found a kidney donor and got the transplant successfully. Now I am 23 years old and I just knew from my doctor in the last medical appointment that the reason of my kidney failure is the bleach I was using. The reason behind this late discovery is that three recent patients had a failure because of the bleach. Now, I take my medication twice a day to reduce my immunity system and because of those pills I gained 30 pounds in only 5 years. So Tyra please give your audience this advice, Is it really worth it!!

Hi tyra!I always watch your show and I really like it. I learn a lot from it. I wanted to know if you can give me advice? My hole life I always went throw a lot of things? And my mom didn't really ever belive me when she would find out. And it really makes me mad. I just had a misscreage and she really didn't sopport me at all. What should I do ? :.(

Dearest Tyra here in SA we dont have your show anymore,the tv stations dont air it, but i want you to know that young girls lyk me really do look up to you as a woman, and somuch more than style and pazazz.you have made it in lyf and given me somuch hope.i dont care to be a model or anything, i rather want to be an inspiration to the worlds young girls.God has blessed me with the gift of life and understanding and all my mistakes have made me the beautiful creation that i am today.Idont know if you are gona get this but i pray that you do,sothat you know that amongst all the millions of fans you have i am one of them and i am praying for you.Thanks for all you do for us woman and teens, you are my inspiration.

Tyra!!! hey, love your show(s)...but...lol okay so i always watch ANTM and Tyra show and i always want to comment, but i figure that you don't really get these comments...today on the show you acknowleged some people that leave comments so now i feel like you will really get my comment... So anyways, WHY WHY WHY wasn't alison chosen for ANTM she was clearly the better choice. i just love her becuase she was such a wierd little girl (i mean nose bleeds! come on!) She went so far on ANTM and she was so "model" beautiful. I just think she deserves another chance...especially chause the other girl cant even act bubble (for the commercial) and she was always crying!!!! Thanks Tyra Devon
