More and more manly dudes are turning into makeup divas.

ladiesonly.jpgLock up your lipsticks, ladies! Guys everywhere are eyeing eyeliner and glancing at gloss. "Mancake" mania is spreading like fire-engine-red nail polish and could be headed to a hottie near you.

The latest posterboy for guy grooming is "High School Musical" heartthrob Zac Efron. Zac's a makeup maven, painting his precious face with boy bronzer and guyliner. Not that we're complaining. He can raid our Sephora stash anytime he wants!

Other famous fellows who've put on their fancy faces include Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, pretty pirate Johnny Depp and make-up magnet Mick Jagger.

Man makeup even makes an appearance in history books. According to salon.com, guys in ancient Egypt applied eyeliner to keep away the "evil eye," Roman chick-magnets chalked their cheeks and 18th Century Frenchmen blushed up their boyish grins.

Now makeup stores are trying to turn ordinary manly men into "facially enhanced" fellows. (Guys usually prefer this term since "mancake" doesn't sound that, um, manly.)

Clinique is marketing its Clinique M Cover ($13) to men who want to "hide dark circles, blemishes and shaving nicks." Sephora's top sellers for men include a bevy of bronzers along with Jean Paul Gaultier's Monsieur line, which features concealer ($20), powder bronzer ($40) and eyeliner pencil ($14).

You tell us: Is man makeup fierce or freaky? Would you be freaked if your guy mixed up some mancake before a date? Or would you help on his hunt for perfection?

What's fine with Zac Efron is fine with me! If you look good in it, why not wear it? But then again, Zac Efron and Johnny Depp could do anything they want in my book. Soooooo hot!

Hmm...I'm torn on this one. I want my BF to be manly. I think it's endearing that he still doesn't understand what mascara does. (seriously...he just doesn't get it. I think it's sooo cute.) On the flip side, have you ever SEEN Ewan McGregor when he's wearing eyeliner. Crazy attractive. I say, if you're a guy and makeup works for you, go for it. To each his own. :)

Ew no make-up is defintely not for men in my opinion. Personally i like a manly man. I like a clean cut guy but no lipgloss. Lipgloss liner, and all that good stuff is girly. I don't want a man who spends more time in the mirror than me. Next he gone be asking me for tips and I just can't do it. It seems a little gay.
