What do you think of the rolled jean cuff trend?

It was no surprise when she and Posh Spice herself became famed celebu-pals -- they're fashion soul mates, after all -- and soon we were all swooning to see Katie's next trend du jour. Even little Suri is a mini-fashionista!

But Mrs. Cruise's latest foray has left stylish divas everywhere split down the middle on this fashion conundrum: to roll or not to roll. Recently seen all over the streets in a pair of jeans that she claims belong to our fave Top Gun, Katie has been working this baggy, rolled-denim trend that has even left Tim Gunn at a loss for words.

I think cuffed jeans are so adorable when done right. Too tight or too loose jeans shouldn't be cuffed. But relaxed jeans cuffed with flats is very casually cute. Katie's jeans here are just a bit too loose. But I've seen some pictures with her jeans juuuuust right and I have to say she looked good. (If you do this look, DON'T go with huge heels - relaxed jeans are casual, remember?)

Katie usually is so chic and sophisticated, however, this fashion choice is not classic nor trendy but frumpy, sloppy, and cheap looking. Honestly, it seems as though Katie is trying way to hard to create a new trend. Not only that, but the baggy, full jeans create a chubby leg and silhouette. Why diet if you are going to wear jeans that make you look fat?

I roll up my jeans like this all the time. The shoddy roll job isn't that flattering, but I still think it gives a little bit of an edge to the pants. It also makes the jeans have a more versatile look.

The old jeaned cuff trend, ummm that was a style in the 80's. Some people are too young to remember, but it's nothing new. Please tell me Katie isn't starting to bring it back, yuck. She can wear whatever she wants, being a celebrity must be hell. I'm sure she just wishes to be left alone, like any other normal human being.

She's usually preppy chic, isn't she? This kinda looks like she lost her luggage and came up with a cute solution using her bodyguards extra clothes (too baggy to be Toms!)

I'm not a big Katie Holmes fan, but come on. Just because she's a celebrity, doesn't mean she has to be glamorous ALL THE TIME. She can dress however she wants-and this isn't even that much of a disaster as other celebrities have done.

I find nothing wrong with the look. It's quite casual and can be worn ONLY under casual circumstances.

I think that this style is feirce and funky. It tells you that i am tough and don't really care what i wear because i look good in anything. I really like this kind of syle i think it's me so yeah.

i think it looks sloppy and very unflattering. fashion has really leaned toward making people look sharp, with flattering cuts and colors, traditional lines and tailored looks much to my happiness! why go back to looking like slobs?
