If your guy wants to turn you on, all it takes is a ... hug?!
Are you crazy about cuddling? You're not alone. One study shows that for many women, canoodling can be more satisfying than sex. (Yes, we're serious!)
According to an article on the "Intimacy Index," conducted by the Berman Center for Women's Health, cuddling may be better than intercourse in terms of relationship satisfaction.
The survey says that couples who smooch and cuddle regularly and spontaneously are uber-connected. They're also way less stressed than partners who bypass the cuddle department and sprint straight to the main event.
"When our skin is touched, our bodies produce various responses including producing oxytocin, the emotional bonding hormone. This makes us feel good around our loved one," says Dr. Pam Spurr in "The Times."
"That heart-warming feeling means that we want more of their company," she says. "And so the cycle goes on bonding us together." So tell your guy if he really wants to make you happy, he'll apply for a new job: snuggle buddy!
