There is no such thing as big bone. Only big mouth. It's simple. Burn more calories than you consume, not consume more calories than you burn.

dear tyra i will never get the oppertunity to be where you are or to see america because people like you do not give us a chance just because we fellow south africans speak afrikaans doesn't mean we are not good enough & that's how you make us feel.we in south africa don't have the oppertunity that you have in america you're goverment pay's for the children's education in you're country in.its sad to see that you could be alot childrens fan right here in south africa & you know what else its heart broken to see that you are not able to help the needy & hungry here in south frica but thank you for litening to wine you're my inperation for trying to make a sucess from myself though it is hard atleast i'm trying. FROM EMMERENCHA JACOBS ALL THE WAY FROM SOUTH AFRICA IN CAPE TOWN

Hey Tyra, in my opinion it does NOT matter if you are big or small. LOVE is unconditionally just because you are big or small that does not change your personality and your outlook on life. For the guy that wants a size 8 and does not want to be with a size 11 or 13..We are ALL beautiful in our OWN WAY. Too bad he cannot see that. He is not Mr. Van Diseal to be putting big woman down!!

Hey Tyra I actually didn't see this episode but the person that commented about her beeing big boned there's no such thing as big boned. # 1 some people just need the help of other people to change there ways and some people just take it upon them selves and this is how she does her thing but I didn't get a chance to see it so i'm just going by what I'v read and here.

I Used To Date This Guy Name Jonathan But We Broke Up I Dont Know Why...

YOU CAN'T LIVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE NOT EATING

Hi Tyra, Even though some people have weight problems there is something they can do about it if they are unhealthy. Like one lady said that was on the show she eats alot when no one is around that is a issue she needs to deal with. For the skeletor some people are big bone and some people have a skinny frame. I have been skinny all my life and people ask me do I eat. No duh!!! You can live your whole life not eating. I don't think you stress it that some people are just skinny and have high metabolism. Everyone does not starve themselves to be skinny. Some people are just that way. Some people are also just big boned, but big boned and out of shape are two different things. EAT TO LIFE DON'T LIVE TO EAT.

Hey Tyra,

Well i watched tyravilles today and the body image one was the one that caught my attention the most! I know most people are saying that it was real cruel and i know i read one comment that said that you should have counseling for these people. Truth is, these people weren't held at gunpoint to come on your show so you shouldn't have to worry bout giving a person counseling for judgements they will get outside of your show anyway, most these people knew they were gonna be judged, and the fact of the matter is that if we all had one counseling session for each time we were judged, counselors would be getting paid a hell of a lot more money than doctors. I'm not a thin girl, actually i'm quite thick but not fat like "couch potatoe"! I actually think that instead of wasting time hating your body image, you should be spending time trying to make it better! well tyra i loved your show!

Hi Tyra,

I watched your tyraville show today and I was glad the prejudice black female was left all alone and rightfully so. When she gets the man she wants and he makes a complete fool out of her and treats her as if she is less than human outside of the fantasy world he has chosen for her, she will get exactly what she deserves. I hope she keeps getting exactly what she deserves until she learns the true meaning of love of humam beings. And if you have a good looking asian man that has it going on, please email me or have him email me. I am not prejudice. I like all nationalities of men.

Hey Tyra, The body image experiment was an opportunity for people to realize that even though someone is plus size they are human and have feelings. I think the idea of people judging others because of their weight is disgusting. i just turned 16 in May and i am a plus size girl. I feel that weight should not be something that causes a person to not like you or not approve of you. As i grew up i never got made fun of by my friends and I'm grateful for that Nobody ever judged me by my weight. Now a days everything is about weight and how you look but i feel that as long as you are happy with yourself you don't have to worry about what others are saying. People will always talk and treat me and many other plus size girls differently, look at the store Hollister they only allow skinny girls to work in the front and as sales reps, if you are "ugly" or "over-weight" they will stick you in the back folding clothes. This is an out rage and unfair but i know life isn't fair. You help so many young plus size girl like myself with body image issues. I have learned to love myself and every curve and bump that i have. Because of you when somebody says something that i cant do something or just anything about my weight i can proudly say " So What". So i thank you for showing the world that no matter if your skinny or plus size you are a person and should all be treated with equal respect.

Tyra, i just watched the tyraville show and all i have to say is i hope your setting up counsling for those people that you just forced to be somewhat tramatized. i hope you realize that your dealing with real people and real emotions and its not just for your t.v show, some of those kids need to realize that being judgmentmental is not exceptable, some of those women need to realize that obesity is unhealthy, it's just a proven fact, i'm glad they love their bodies but they shouldn't expect to not have health complications, and as for the singles, well everyone of those people knows why they are single and your right, if they don't open up their minds and except people for who they are, they will continue to live lonley lives, this show did hit a cord, but i just hope your helping them and not just trying to get ratings.

Hi Tyra,

I watched Tyrasville. I saw the part about the body image. I would like to say that Couch Potato is right you can not look at a person whose overweight and say they have health issue. I know alot of people who is overweight and have no health issues at all. I'm not overweight and I have alot of health issue so what would the people in tyrasville say about me. I also do not believe that just b/c you are black you are janitor and if you are hispanic you are maid. It does not matter what race you are a job is a job. P.S. There are white people that are janitor and maids.

I really thought that the body image experiment was sad. I don't uinderstand why people are judged by their weight. It's awful.

Hi there Tyra,
i have just recently turned 15, and im going into my second year of highschool, people always tell me, that i am a very good public speaker, and that i know how to explain my self very well. you see, racism kills me inside, i have friends and family from all over the world, and i find it very interesting to learn about thier cultures, why cant people just accept that around the globe, people do things differently? like its so true, i am white, and i know for a fact, black people are treated and discriminated so badly today in society.. if a black person shoplifts, right away its on the news and all over the papers and what not, but if your white and you do something like that, chances are, you will just get a warning and they will let you go. why cant people just be treated as an equal? everyone is a human, we all live on the same planet.. maybe in differnt place, with different ideas on religeon and ways to raise their families, but no matter what, we are all people, with feelings, hearts and souls.. we all deserve the rights to walk down a street with our head high, knowing that it is okay to be proud of our background! like come on people, why is it we only notice the bad things black people do, and only the good things white people do?! truth is.. black and white people both commit the same amount of crimes, and it has nothing at all, to do with the race of the person, it has to do with the person them selves, not their background.. they made the decision all on there own, there race didnt make them do it.. they chose to. also, in singlesville, i found it heartwrenching, like although im a slim girl, i have friends who are slightly larger then me, and i see how their size can affect their relationships, and its terrible, all my friends are gorgeous girls, with huge hearts and even bigger personalities, i just really wish people could see that in everyone.. everyone is really amazing, and deserves to be loved by someone. i just really truely wish i could get my message out to everyone some how.. im trying to eliminate racism, steriotypes, and prejudice, its my lifes goal, because i have been in situations where i have been hurt and judged by my appearance, religeion and upbringing, and i definatly think no one, and i mean no one, deserves to go through that ever.
but i definatly think i wrote enough now, it feels great to get that off my chest, thanks Tyra,
it really means alot to me.

God Bless you,

Taylor Swidzinski ♥

In singlesville I was shock that the black woman labeled as Gay was really that judgemental about black men. I am a black women married to a black man not all black men lie or are players. My husband is a hard working provider who come home every night to me and spend time with his kids. Players can come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Just because she had a few bad relationship with a few black men do not make all black men liars. It is a horrible negative comment it is like me saying that all women that have never been married by the age of 35 are crazy, drive men out there lives, have major personality flaws, jealous issue, is not capable of substaining a meaningful relationship.

only childish people judge and if these adults are judging each other with out getting to know each other just says they really need Jesus

The black woman and the black man showed a tension of stereotypes that are the result of slavery . The white Patriarchal society that we live in places women in the objective and men in the subjective. This is why body image is sooo important to women(sadly) and why the status of men is important. Its horrible that in 2008 we still see men as dominant and women as less than. I also noticed that every man wanted the thin white woman which explains the beauty standard of Americans. There are so many in grained stereotypes. Why did most women look for a man that seemed stable as if woman cannot be stable without a man. Why are we still objects and dehumanized today!!!

Hi Tyra,
I just watched your show "Tyrasville" and unlike other people I was not at all shocked! We all judge eachother wether we admit it or not. But what did shock me was when it was time for the women to lable eachother. I do believe the were not being honest I think they were labeling based on who they liked and disliked in the bunch. Obviously there were women that could of been labled the "Fat slob" But they decided to give that lable to the woman that was being the most honest out of them all. Yes she was mean and it seemed like she was against all the bigger women but she was the only oine who was seeing the full picture.

And now about "Teensville" all I can say is "WOW" The one who wowed me the most was Rachel the 16 yr old girl from Iowa. She is very very judgemental! She was just biting these black kids heads off and spitting them out. I think she has alot to learn! I think it came back to bite her in the butt when she wanted to marry that one boy and he did not accept her. She finally felt a little bit of what she was doing to these other kids "HURT"!

heyyy tyra,
i'm 12 and going into 7th grade..i'm taller than all of the kids in my grade. i always get called mean names. also i am very smart and ppl always call me a nerd. i go home and cry sometimes. your shows that tell about stereotypes and preteens and teenagers fighting and calling eachother names really mean alot to me. the one about the mean girls club was amazing. the two girls that got into a fight were around my age and i think that katelind was telling the truth rather than the other girl. you could tell by her facal expressions and her moms. people always say that girls don't use their hands, they use words. but that show showed everyone wrong. thank you tyra..i
