Tyra i hate my weight im always struggling to get it off i want to be a singer model doctor and an actress i see the personality of a great beautiful model in me and i am very good at it because i am always practicing im always watching AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL and i try some of their moves and i watch and try to be like them but the only problem is my weight i mean i have the body all the curls and everything but there is just a little excessive fat you and rihanna are my icons and watching yoll model is very interesting and helpful to me i love your tips that you give into modeling it is amazing i want to be asinger because people tell me i could sing and my voice sounds like rihanna own and i enjoy singing. an actress because i am always fooling people its easy and fun. and a doctor because i love helping people i would love to help those people in africa who dont have a home and i will find cures for disease i love seeing when people are happy i would like to know how can i loose the weight
 
I think the best advice for you is to eat reallly slow it will fill you up faster and you wont want as many meals during the day. as far as sweets go ; consider it this way ... you can eat that snickers and regret it or you can ask yourself can i wait an hour or so and then possably have something else to eat like some chicken breast or a salad? your answer should always be yes i can wait ... being that your 145lbs your obviously not starving ( please dont take that the wrong way ) i just mean that its quite alright to sacrafice at least for a little while. good luck.
 
Tyra...I HATE my weight...my friends tell me i look fine, but everytime i look in the mirror, all i see is FAT. Ive been trying to lose weight since this summer and ive only lost like 10-12lbs. I start losing weight and then it comes right back! I've tried everything, but my motivation always disappears with sweets. I can't help it. I know that my weight at my age (145 @ 14..and im not that tall) isnt healthy and i should try and lose it, but it never seems to come off! do you have ANY ideas that might help me?
 
Tyra!! My little sister it really weight consious and she's only 9. I'm worried. She asks for only a little bit of this during dinner. She always looks at the nutrien facts at the back of the bag before the eats junk. Her friends at school tell her that shes trippin! I'm prettty slim. I eat like a pig than i go flush after that. Thats the way i work. (without pills) But lil sis isnt like that. Should she be watching her weight @ this age? I don't want her to set bad examples for her friends. Tyra, you seem like the right person to ask. =)

Hey, I'm currently 20 years old, 5'5.5 and i used to weigh 200lbs. I have lost so far 60lbs on my own and still working to reaching 120lbs. no exercise equipment, and no programs. What i did was look at how much i eat during the day. i used to eat over 2500 calories which for me was too much. I have dropped it first down to 2000 calories for awhile, then again eat another 500 less calories. so now i eat roughly 1500 calories a day. I exercise 70mins for 5 days (aerobic, light weights - for tonning. And cardio) then 1 day is 50mins of exercise and sunday is 30-45mins of just cardio. I have been on this journey for 1 year now. This takes a lot of time, and self control. I don't eat fast food (if i do i try to have grilled chicken, salads with no cream sauce, or eat only half the portion and get the rest to go). i drink plenty of water, veggies, fruit and no red meat anymore. i'll eat chicken, turkey and fish. my breads are mostly whole wheat now instead of white. I try to increase my fiber intake since it helps with weight loss. I do eat candy but bite sized pieces. i only eat pie,cake,ice cream etc on special occasions. I also don't drink pop, and i'll drink 250ml of orange juice. Try switching your milk to skim milk, light butter etc. those little things still help to shave off calories. If you hit a platue, don't get discouraged, just switch up your exercise routine a little. keep doing up the good work and it'll show. hope this helps a little. oh, a great workout DVD is Jackie Warner's - includes lower, upper and torso workouts with

I have struggled with weight all of my life. My daughter now follows in my foot steps. The other day I got on th scale and for the first time in my life I saw the 300lb mark! I have to have knee surgery because of an injury and I have gained close to 80lbs because of it. How do I help my daughter when I can not help myself.

Hello Tyra, My name is Carol. I am 210lbs, and I am having trouble loosing weight. I have tried diets and working out. but it is hard with 3 Children and the stress with it. not to mention I am a stress eater. I do not know how to get out of that. hi tyra,trini girl here i am 160lbs and i need to lose 40lbs i don't have any exercise equipment at home and is finding it hard to lose the weight since i am a housewife and amother of on try to lose weight i end up giving up but neitherthe less i am not giving up please if i can get some help it would be great i can't go to a gym because i can't afford it so please help me tyra to look good for myself and feel great it is just horrible to look at myself in the mirror now and know the i was never fat always slim and after i've had my daughter i gained all the weight in my tummy,buttocks,face.legs and arms.PS your loyal fan seema LUV YA.
