Heyy tyra.!
Todays Show was just wow.!
it was seriously just wow.
a Muslim girl acting like that. thats seriously a disgrace. and all those other girls to thats just a disgrace i mean come on everyone has there belifs. Either you belive in something or you dont. its None of the others bussiness. and its terrifying on how girls would act thats seriously a problem i mean like im only a freshmen in high school but ive seen worse things then that but knowing that girls would actually do that. Thats seriously just wow. Its weird how most girls act these days and that seriously tought me a lesson today on how not to act and i was going tords that stuff girls were trying to change me but i kept my head up high and motivated my self and said that i dont need to be in any of this nonsense. girls should behave because its how we mostly get respect. Thanx Tyra for showing this episode today i hope it tought most girls on how to act instead of ending up like the bad girls well thanx for everything
Love.

I cant believe that the mother of the daughter that was in pageatns does her homework, and was so rude about apologizing to that girl! Im with you on that one tyra!! How does it look when you are that way with your children, much less towards someone else's child? I am firm believer that the way you raise your children, reflects you as a parent. And if its that hard for a grown woman to apologize to a 13 year old, imagine how hard its going to be for her daughter to live an average day without the critisism of the world. When i was watching your show, i was looking at the audience reactions to how she was, even spelling America, alot of the people in the audience especially the girls, were laughing at how she thinks its okay for her not be able to spell such a simple word. Did she practice that with her parents before the cameras where on? For her mom to critsize the other child for not having a fashion sense is just immature for her part as well! Especially for someone who was wearing a pant suit from 1994! Im am very glad though, that she didnt let little comments from them affect her enough to want to change who she is as a person, and she stood her ground! You go girl!
I love your show!!!
Dear Tyra:
I love to watch your show I am an older woman but our show can be very informative on what happening with the younger generation today. I was a Case Manager for a Homeless shelter and some of your show truly touch my soul.
Is there a way that I can contact you to talk about a situation that is going on with me right now.
I disagree. While not normally one to pass moral judgements, I am disgusted by that beauty pageant family. I cannot see one valid argument actually supporting them.
This is not about feminism or tradition. Those parents are the reason the united states is way behind other countries when it comes to intelligence and education. Give me a break, the 17 year old daughter can't even work on her own projects? or spell America?
I also agreed with Tyra when she expressed that they were setting their daughter up for failure, giving her a present every day? Keeping up a Christmas tree year round? Doing all her work for her?
That poor stupid girl is going to have to live with her parents until they die because she is never going to find someone else to baby her like that.
I think the worst part is that the parents don't realize the long term harm they are doing her. They obviously think they are doing the right thing, which is horrifying. And it seems like the hopes they have for their daughter is that she marries rich. Do they honestly expect her to go to college or even win a pageant when she can't put a sentence together?
Dear Tyra show,
I am upset with the amount of bias that was demonstrated on this episode of the Tyra show. I am under the assumption that the television show "Wife Swap" takes 2 families and highlights the extremities on an issue, with the moral of the show being that each family could learn something from the other. Today on the Tyra show Tyra highlighted the "beauty pagent family" as wrong and the "feminist family" as right- even going as far to make the beauty mom appologise for calling a child a "geek" but not asking the feminist mom appologise for calling a child a liar, cheat and prostitute. This is not to say that the beauty parents doing their child's homework or having Christmas everday is healthy, however it is also not healthy to cut off all communication from other children or to not allow the kids to wear their choice of appropriate
clothing.
In the future I would like to see a more accurate and unbiased coverage of such stories.
