Okay Tyra, I am a 19 year old wife! I have watch porn before a few time, and I also tried to spice up my relationship by watching porn with my husband, guess what happend?... end up turning off the T.v. and did a better job then the girl faking the excited look on her face! This is a touchy subject near and dear to us all. Are we not here to share our thoughts and opinions with each other and not force them upon each other or slam each other. Let's try to respect each other's opinions.
With that being said, here are my thoughts, take it or leave it.
I feel there is a difference between porn use on a casual basis and porn addiction which has damaging effects on the person addicted and family or loved ones around that person.
I do agree that we are not addressing the real issues that come up from porn addictions. Such as self esteem problems and confusion about what is expected of women. Not to mention, to the fathers out there, what do you do if your little girl accidentally walks in on her daddy j---ing off to porn. Think about how damaging that can be. Or another perspective, guys, how would you feel about your teenage daughter being pressured to do those kinds of things because some young boy hasn't been taught any other way of treating a woman.
We don't ever think or talk about these things, it seems that this subject is very one sided. It seems that guys are down on women for not being open or willing to try these things. I feel that men should be just as willing to try the things women want and need. Men you might be suprised that if you give a little also, women are so much more willing to do more for you.
I don't think that porn is all bad, I just think that if people put it in between the relationships they have (rather than use it casually and respect it and each other) it can be a very real problem and I feel all were doing is teaching people, mostly men, that it's ok to be degrading to women.

My DH and I watch these *movies* a lot... and I use them by myself sometimes, too... I'm a visual person. I have mentioned numerous times that I wish that more of these were made for women and not just for men. I don't want to see all of the oh-ah-face shots of the women... I want to see how much the men are enjoying it. KWIM?

Not knowing what I do or do not do, you have no clue what goes on in MY bedroom NATHAN. But I can say this, the one that brags the most is getting the LEAST. As I said there are things that YOU won't do, I am sure of it. You poor gals are probably getting cheated on right now! Porn is an example of the things that men wish they could do to their wives or girl friends. Tyra had a show about prostitution not to long ago and the working girls said that they were in buisness because they did the things that those men did not experience in their realationships. You are right...it is fantasy but it is also reality because I have had porn sex consistantly since the age of 17 for free and won't except anything less, so don't tell me that they only do it cause they are getting paid.
