I think we should stop judging persons but instead know the situation in depth and understand whats why they choose to make their own personal decisions. Each person is entitled with internal freedom to make choices. Hence we should use others views, perspectivies and preferences to make us understand not only them, but the society in with we live in. Others view points should also used as building blocks os of knowledge, understanding and the ability to embrace and understand other human beings for who they are and what they believe even if their views are'n the same as ours.

Our society is collapsing from within. Moral values are the foundation of a healthy society, when it is rotten, we eventually fall. So SAD!!

Let's go back to doing the right things - if we don't, we fall as a nation.

I liked that episode. I just want to say that I saw guy porn two years ago and I`m educated by it. I`m a virgin and it just feels like I had a visual one night stand,because I became curious about men. I believe those two porn star performers where there for one reason. To promote thier brand of Pornography. I personally think they are liars because they didn't tell the whole truth about the porn biz. I noted that Ms. Royal did not expound on exactly how unpleasant her experience in male oriented porn was. I think for very good reason. I think if America knew the true nature of making porn, and what the lives of the "performers" in them were really like they would loose business. Even if it's made by women for women. Hi Tyra, my name is Stephanie and I just finished watching your show about porn. Im 19 years old and I have been into porn for a while now. I think that different times call for different porn. If you are in a romantic mood then the womens porn may be better or if your into the rough stuff then maybe the mens porn is best. But still not all women are into the romantic stuff so I think there sould be more porn made for women that consists of a variety from kinky to romantic. I am from South Africa...Well what I would love to say is that it's by choice to be part of it! Still on that note I think this degrades women coz women feel less confident with themselves. If their men watch porn,they feel under pressure that they should do/be like those women there! NASTY things...

I have often used the comparison of, would a man, any man, like it if women came up to him and asked him "how much money do you have? give me a $20." What if EVERY woman came up to you and said this? Would you get tired of it and get angry after a while? Now, look at women who are asked daily and multiple times in a day "hey, wanna give me oral sex?" or "wanna have sex" and nothing else. It gets lame and tiresome. I am sure Monical Lewinsky doesn't like it when you consider how many men now look at her for oral sex and they don't even know her. They heard she did it and the first thing on their mind is 'can I get oral'(note not ALL men, but many so as to not get the grammar police here again). I am sure she wishes that this was not her claim to fame and I know I don't want to be seen as something only good for sex.

I understand that porn is a personal choice. I understand some love it and some don't. But I agree with Gloria there, don't do it for the wrong reasons. Porn can and often does reduce women to nothing more than a sex toy and that to some IS degrading. Probably to more than you know. What you do in your own home is your business, but it can influence your relationships if it gets out of control. Everyone has a choice. Think before you decide is a good thing.

Last note, keep in mind, those women in the films are PAID to do that. You are not. Those women are getting big bucks to do that, you are NOT. Violet Blue and Candida Royalle themselves said that. What they do in their normal off screen time with their boyfriends, husbands, and lovers is NOT what they do on screen. If you watch the HBO special Pornucopia you will see that these women including Tera Patrick do NOT have this wild sex at HOME. It is ON SCREEN ONLY, and men wanting it and wanting to see it, even the women wanting also, pays their BILLS not yours. Yeah, it is a fantasy for people, but fantasy is not reality and you cannot in any way, shape, or form continue on with every day being a bigger and better porn scene in your bedroom. You are setting yourself up for destrucion when that starts.

Let me start this with I am not saying anyone should or should not 'watch' porn. That is each person's decision to make. However, after having read all these posts and seeing some themes here, I have this to say.

Ladies, if you truly think you are proving your independence by these actions, take a closer look. Women are not just objects to have sex with, and yes, we can have sex as often as they do. BUT, are you truly proving anything by giving a man, any man, unlimited sex as HE wants, when HE wants, and how HE wants? You may even like some of this, you may like all of it. But it is not true independence or liberation when your value is place on how many men you let have you and how many different ways you let them have you. You are now objectified to being a robot, a doll, something to be used for sex and not your ability to hold a job, pay bills, and make a section of life 'worth' living outside of sex. I am not saying sex is wrong, but do it for the RIGHT reasons, not because some man has turned it around and convinced you if you let him use you for unlimited sex in any form he can think of, that you are somehow now equal to him. That is about as arsebackward thinking as you can get. Remeber the bre'er rabbit telling bre'er bear to 'not throw him in the briar patch?' It was the EXACT place he wanted to be but by convincing bre'er bear that he was afraid of it and it was the worst thing he could do, bre'er bear threw him in the EXACT place he wanted to be to make his escape. To me, all these men with this 'oh if you do this you are truly our equal' crap, is the same thing!! Don't be fooled by giving the guys free reign over your body and think it will make you have an equal footing. Sex will in the end ALWAYS be dominated by the male here. WE will be considered horrible names and considered easy and they will seek you out because you ARE easy. They on the other hand are considered studs and gigolos, nice names that compliment them for their prowess. Again, I am not saying sex is wrong, but do NOT just give total control of your body and do what they ask with no perception of what the end consequence is.

A MAN on here wrote, "that is not the type of woman you would bring home to your mother and father nor wish to marry." That is the TRUTH of this. It may feel great now, but in the long run, who is going to want you if you let 100 men, 200 men, or more go through your body? One day it will matter. When you go to a job do you wish to be like Linda Lovelace who was fired at almost every job immediately when they found out what she did and who she was? That is a true story. Your future may not be important right now, but it will be important one day and if you mess it up now, some things you just can't get back.

Be taken seriously and independently because you can think not because you can spread your legs. Again, nothing wrong with porn. Watch all you want. Participate for the RIGHT reasons, not the wrong ones. I for one never have and never will be put into a category of a sex object and considered stupid and ignorant and of no value for work or business because I have no brain. THAT is true independence.

Tyra Banks, a wonderful lady. She is a smart, intelligent, and independent woman that made her mark by not just being pretty but by being all those things. She stepped out of the casted mold of models and stood up for herself and never lost her femininity. She did not and never will be in a position to have to have sex to get something. She OWNS herself. You should also.

So watch your porn, enjoy yourself and realize it is entertainment. Don't let anyone try to manipulate you into doing exactly as THEY want, but do as YOU want. Hold control over your future and thoughts when you watch this. Don't be used and never feel as if any person male OR female is so important in your life that you have to do something you will regret or hate yourself for later. Do it for the RIGHT reasons.

Tyra I am so glad you did a show on this. I've been educated in sex education and being open with your sexuality is a necessity. Depriving societies children of the truth about sex is not good. I grew up where the only thing talked about in sex ed was abstinence. By not knowing anything about sex I explored intimate acts with boys. This is not a great option. By not telling your children what is going on when it comes to sex and the reasons to have sex and that masturbation is acceptable and not taboo we can prevent things. The average age of pregnancy will go down. STD rates will go down. It is so important for our youth to know everything about sex. In college i took a sex education class and i wish it was the class i had in high school. If i knew the things i know know i wouldn't have made some of the decisions i made. One thing we learned is that whatever makes you happy sexually that you do not regret is the morning everyone should except. If you are satisfied with the things you do it is acceptable. Never compare your needs and wants to anyone else. Be comfortable with your own sexuality and be open. You go Tyra you should do a show on sex ed and if it helps and what we need in society to help these increasing std and preganancy rates for underage children.

Why don't you contact Ascension Press and have Christoper West come on your show and talk about the true plan for "sex" and how it is life giving. The Theology of the Body should be taught to all people instead of pandemic of pornography that is reducing both women and men to objects instead of the beautiful people they are.

Obviously people ARE making a big deal out of it because it seems it isn't just a matter of 'watching it' to some. Didn't you read any of the posts here? Wow, some with criminal backgrounds, some with addictions. Some women feeling pressured to do things they don't want to do.
