I actually taped this episode, it was very interesting to me. I have to say that I don't agree that White and Hispanic women are taking Black men. I am Hispanic and yes I have a Black boyfriend. In our case, in previous relationships we "stuck to our own". For me, it just never worked out. I didn't seek my man because he is Black and I don't think he went for me bc I am Hispanic something just brought us together. We have a great relationship because we love each other. I feel the animosity from Black women from time to time but once they actually get to know our relationship, they see its love not just a trend we're following from TV. I have never been sorry for being with this man regardless of the obstacles we have been through.

Hi Tyra. I love you sooo much. You are so in tuned and free, and I love the fact that you are so real. I am the exact same way. I am from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean West Indies. I have been stuck here in america because of very difficult reasons that compromise my way of life. I was wondering if you would do some research about the Immigrant status in America, and not just the Puerto Ricans and Mexicans. cause it seems that the minute the word immigrant is mentioned, people automatically think of them, and i support that but there is a grave indifference, for they are open to help a little bit easier. I would love to go back to school, and maintain a good job until I can run my own business, but its so hard without things like a simple social security card and number and even the steps to take are difficult cause you don't have the documents. So its like they are giving and taking in the same hand. You cant work unless its of the books, and even if the person pays you with a check, not even your passport can help you get it changed. There are people who were born here and do nothing with their lives, but I come from the beautiful Caribbean and must subject myself to all sorts of degrading and non paying jobs and work for people whom are advantageous and disrespectful, just so that I can rent a room for $175 a week. It is very hard. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THIS ON YOUR SHOW AND RAISE AWARENESS. IT IS A GIGANTIC ISSUE THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE IGNORE OR EVEN ARE IGNORANT ABOUT. KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU DO, AND BE BLESSED.

Hello Tyra, Love you and your show! Please, Please, Please read this..White women are not taking black men away from black women. Just like the N word was buried, so should this statement. That statement will build impowerment were it doesn't belong. Our only problem is that some of us complain too much to the point of where love walks away.Let me give you an example. My husband and I have a single black male friend who happens to be a blue collar guy.I thought it would be nice to set up on a date with my corporate girlfriend who happens to be black, because I thought the two of them would get along great because of their personalities. He was excited, she on the other hand came with a list of negative questions like how much does he make, what kind of car does he drive, ect. I told her complaining is the reason she is still single. As a result of that, they never were able to connect.Well the story get better. I ended up introducing our friend to my other single girlfriend who just happens to be white, and they are now dating. Well when my corporate girlfriend found out, she made that untrue statement, white women taking our brotha's. My husband defended our friend by telling her she had an chance but she is too bitter. Tyra we as black women are so beautiful, talented, smart and strong but we protect ourselves with unrealistic expectation. Our friends come from all races and I never hear my hispanic friends say black women are taking our men or my white friends say asian women are taken our men! My husband and I have been married for fifteen years and we started together with nothing but love and faith in one

Hi Tyra, how are you? I got married in Dec. 2000 n I wasn't ready then. I've been seporated since Sept. 2001 n I haven't found da right one yet. I'm 38, with 4 sons n 4.1 grandchildren. I very much single n very attractive straight female. I'm scared to date or even to try to meet people. I'm beginning to believe that I will never find someone to love me like I do them. I know everyone isn't perfect, but damn. Tyra, can u please help me get it together? If anyone can help me, its you.....

HI TYRA. YOU ARE GIVING ME CORAGE AFTER I SAW YOUR PROGRAM. YOU ARE A EXCELLENT HUMAN BEING...I HOPE THAT YOU COULD BRING A SHOW ABOUT THE MEN WHO MARRY ANOTHER WOMAN WHILE THEY ARE MARRIED ALREADY... THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME BUT UNFORTUNATE OR FOR MY FORTUNE I WAS THE SECOND WIFE.....

Black woman should stop putting limits on love. Give white men and younger men a chance to love you. I believe that love has no age or color. This will give you a better chance to find a good partner. STOP COMPLAINING

I am a black young woman (ok, i am a teen, but I am a young woman)and after reading someone's comment below me, I want to say that yes, some of the black men that date white women date them because most white women seem very weak and controllable...but only the black guys that are jerks are the ones that date white women so that they can manipulate them. The other black guys that date white girls and marry them love them because of who they are and they just happen to be white. It's all about the inside, who cares about the out. No one should. Skin is just color. It is just a complextion. It is not that serious people, really,I AM A 16 1/2 YEAR OLD BLACK GIRL PEOPLE and I am currently dating a guy who just happens to be Latino. I encourage interacial dating and I love seeing places that are not majority black, white, latino...places that have many different races and cultures mixed all in one, because thats how it should be. Everyone should not care about race and should just look at other people for who they are...i wish

First of all I love the show, I try to watch it every night. I took offense to the show about black women. I am in a bi-racial relationship. My boyfriend is black and I am mexican. You can't help who you fall in love with it is the person you are. My boyfriend have been with different kind of girls. Why is it such a big deal. I don't understand why when a black woman date outside of her race there is nothing to it, but it is not the same for guys.

Because Tyra is a "black" women she is given the forum to sterotype other races without any repercussions, and it's sad. I have 2 b-racial children, engaged to a wonderful MAN (first, black man second) and we're expecting our daughter in August. If black women have a problem with that when they see us, HATE ON! There's alot of other women he could be with, white, black, hispanic, etc, but he chose me. I'm so tired of hearing black women are strong and independent and that's why black men don't want them. If you're so independent, why are you whining and using white women as an exucuse for being singe? I can be strong, independent, and take care of my man, we take care of eachother. Maybe Tyra did this show because she herself is STILL single! And by the way, Halle Berry is Bi_racial and she's a beautiful BI_RACIAL woman!

I just wanted to say thank you for all you are doing to represent women in a positive light. I was however suprised when I watched your show with the celebrity judges. Let me start with, I don't generally watch court tv of anykind. However, I did notice that the white, male, straight judge(sorry I don't know his name) was overlooked in most of the conversation that aired. Even at the end when all the judges were thanked for their appearance on the show, this same judge was left out. I'm sure it's a matter of editing or even just an oversight. The reason this caught my attention is because I know several intelligent men with amazing capabilities who were not represented in this episode. Still love the show!!!!!!! Just very suprised because this show seems to be about representing everyone as much as possible. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication! Teresa

I'm not a big fan of talks shows in general but I always enjoy the Tyra show for its honesty. I also really respect Tyra and believe she is a strong beautiful woman and a great role model. I am a freshman in college and recently started dating a black man. I am a white woman. I am dating him because he makes me laugh and we can waste hours talking about anything. I've atually been really offended by people (many of which are both our friends) who have made comments about him "getting a white girl." One of my best friends is a black woman and, while she didn't say in words that she doesn't like us dating, I have noticed an attitude from her that she has never shown me before. When I asked her about it she admitted that she didn't like us together. She admitted that she didn't know why it bothered her and that she even felt bad that it did but she couldn't help it. I think it would be really interesting to have psychologists or sociologists on the show to talk about where these feelings may come from? Maybe if we understand how these negative stigmas are formed we could all grow from it. I'm supposed to be a member of this new and understanding generation but I am amazed by the reactions an inter racial relationship still recieves. It honestly makes me feel like I have been warped back into the past. It used to be that races were told to keep to themselves. Is the new rule for society now that different races can be friends but dating is still "too weird"? I just find it all to be pretty hypocritical and honestly just upsetting. I am really glad Tyra is

Thank you Tyra for doing a show like this because honestly what other venue is there for black women to speak on some of the issues that specifically face us and the black community as a whole. People should not take offense to this type for show. I feel like it is very selfish because we don't have many venues. I think like many of the other viewers who feel like slavery plays a big part on how black women and men relate to each other, but I think at some point we have to take responisibility for ourselves. WHY is our community so seperate? Are we really proud about being African American & African Descendents? As far as black men dating outside their race sometimes it does feel like a slap in the face. I am dating a wonderful black man who truly loves me and black women, but I have alot of single female friends and family members who can't find love because they prefer black men. I just encourage black women start looking out of your race for love because your "African Kings" are doing it. I just hate to hear that nearly half of black women have never been married. I don't understand it because we are beautiful and strong women with alot to give. I wish all my single sisters much success in finding love!!! As far as weaves, wigs whatever! I personally love braids and may be a short wig. My ultimate goal is to grow my natural hair out. For the ladies that wear weaves and wigs I feel it is ok as long as you don't think that is the ultimate thing that makes you beautiful. Tyra keep doing shows like this! Thank you
