In honor of the movie, add some SATC to your life!

Although not always practical -- fashion is a safe way to escape and reinvent oneself, no matter who you are, what size you are or where you live. On Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw has become an icon amongst a large group of women, as she reinvents her presentation and evolves her look from day to day. So! Let's get strategizing on how every woman can add a bit of SATC fantasy to her life. In honor of Sex and the City's heroines, here goes...

For the Carries of the world: You're creative, a tad confused and beautifully adept at fashion.

In true Carrie fashion, shoes come first! Dior dishes out the real deal -- but these "inspired" pieces are going to fly off the shelves: Madalynn, Steve Madden, $109.95 (pre-order only).

Next up: the handbag, naturally! Score Carrie's uniquely fashionable handbag: Eiffel Tower Bag, Timmy Woods, $375.

This casual, summery dress still exudes Carrie-esque appeal. The smocking at the top, reminiscent of the famed smocked green Juicy Couture dress she wore to conceal her pregnancy while filming the series, accomodates all sizes 'on top': Shirred Floral Detail Dress, ASOS, $61.07.

For women needing additional support, this flirtatious floral halter offers a similar feel: Butterfly Chiffon Halter Dress, Max C at ASOS, $98.15.

Just for fun, this dress seems to be a combination of the pink strapless dress Carrie wore to the "Big-big Hampton's wedding" and her usual evening edginess. Whether you're headed to Bungalow 8, or the movie theatre to watch the film, why not play dress up in this? Reanna Dress, Otis & Maclain at Madison LA, $115.

For the Samantha's of the world: You're independent, fearless, bold and larger than life.

You've gotta hand it to her: this lady manages to wrap herself in powerhouse suits perfect for a female PR executive -- but she still knows how to keep things fun (obvi...). Score the same look with this red pairing, whose glamorous silk fabric manages to lend major sex appeal to the ensemble without being overly body-conscious: Silk Kimono Jacket & Skirt, Spiegel, $69 & $39.

As her style does differ from Carrie's in the sense that she isn't afraid to be matchy-glamour girl, don't be afraid to pair the suit up with these red patent platforms. They may be a little maneater-esque, but we think they're amazing: Brittania, Guess?, $109.

When she isn't kicking derriere in the business-world, Samantha still isn't afraid of standing out in a crowd, which is inevitable in this ruffled sundress meets vixen frock: Belted ruffle-trim dress, Newport News, $49.

Just for the heck of it...we have to include what Samantha would wear under her clothes (although not on dates, as you SATC groupies remember!). Samantha's lack of inhibition would likely allow her rendezvous to be exquisitely stylish in Agent Provocateur's lace, tulle, and red-hot Liliana Collection , $105-$210.

Use your "Miranda Rights" to score sharp points in and out of the courtroom!

Not knowing quite what to think of Miranda's style, we are happy to see they put extra effort into her look for the movie. During the series, we saw her so much as a stressed-out lawyer and frazzled new mom that we rarely got to see her as pulled together as the other girls. For an interesting look that distracts from body flaws, with a gold belt to cinch and highlight your waist, try out this combo: Black Geometric Charmeuse Bubble Hem Dress, Romeo & Juliet Couture, $79.99, matched up with the Textured Metallic Belt, Xhilaration, $9.09.

As the weather heats up, it only makes sense to highlight the beauty of this geometric-print dress (the attached red belt is included), which gives the same attitude, but is a bit sharper around the edges in terms of cut, print and accessory color: Printed Silk Dress, Alice & Olivia, $330.

Okay -- just one more! This geometric option manages to be especially unique as the pattern elongates your frame, which is especially awesome for petite fashionistas: Rare Moment Babydoll Dress, Sass & Bide, $220.

Regardless of the dress, any look must be tied together with the right shoes. For warm weather, white and ivory tones are appropriate. Ideally, like this pair of gold and ivory sandals, they should tie into the belt's gold tone: Thorana, Nine West, $83.

Dear Charlottes: Ladylike, pulled-together glam and always in style.

She's perfectly pulled together, and follows The Rules in every facet of her life: dating, men, shoes... Abstract fashion is not something Charlotte is interested in, but in honor of the one time she didn't follow the rules (i.e., the rose garden incident!), this classically designed dress would be appropriate for any garden party: Rose Garden Dress, Forever 21, $24.80

This ladylike dress is an irresistible confection, raditating Charlotte's persona: Taffeta Couture Dress, Isaac Mizrahi for Target, $39.99.

You can never go wrong with a simple V-neck A-line dress, which de-emphasizes hips: Satin & Jacquard Sheath, Donna Ricco, $148.

Top off the look with the perfect pair of neutral pumps. Although Charlotte isn't wearing platforms, these are flawlessly suitable: Madison, Dolce Vita, $136.

Hi Tyra - I went to a taping of your show on the morning of Sept. 10 and we were told it would air on Sept. 23, but it didn't. I just checked your home page and the Friday, Oct. 9 show has a similar Ty-Over topic but all the girls and audience members looked different, so I was wondering if you re-taped the episode I attended, and, if so, why? I toughed it out in 6 inch pumps for hours!!! I called the studio on Sept. 23 and they said it would air soon, but I've been taping it everyday and still haven't seen it!! Please let me know!

how do i email a picture. its important.

Hi Tyra, My name is Robin. I love that you attempt to discourage young girls from making the mistake of having a child too soon; but I think your attempts are futile for the most part because you haven't addressed the real problem of why most people who have no business having children choose to or by accident have them: Children and parenthood are idealized. They are sold as fairy tale fantasies that will bring you ultimate joy and happiness above all else and as the answer to ALL our problems and deficiencies. The REALITY of children and parenthood are actively hidden and falsely glorified. I am a woman who DOES NOT desire to have children. I CHOOSE not to have any and for the most part I disdain them. I am not afraid to voice this but others would judge me a monster or bitter. Not true. Children in fact would decrease the quality of my life. CORINNE MAIER a french psychiatrist & mother of 2 agrees and wasn't afraid to voice her regrets @ having children. She wrote: NO KIDS: 40 GOOD REASONS NOT TO HAVE CHILDREN, a best seller in france (2007) & now being printed in the US. Everything in this book is true but no one( parents or the child free) would dare say it or admit it. The book is funny, honest, & blunt. I think you should read this book and be brave enough to feature it and take on the false idealization of children and parenthood. We need to stop demonizing and pitying people who choose not to have children. IT IS A CHOICE.

Hello Tyra and team, My name is Zahida and I am an early childhood educator. I reside in Toronto, Canada. I am totally in love with Ameriaca and Canada's next top model. I am also very proud that you have introduced petite models. The reason of me writing today is, I am of East Indian Origin and I would for you to start the show INDIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL in India itself. I hope it's not a wishful thinking. Once I started this topic on India Forums asking them what people thought of this show and the response was very positive. I just thought I put my suggestion forward. Hoping to hear back from you at ZahidaECE@gmail.com Love Zahida

Thank You for your show on texting while driving. I recently lost my brother because he was text fighting with his g/f and decided to drive reckless. My brother lost his life all because of texting. This has not only impacted my life and my families lives, but all his friends and the community. I think texting should be illegal in all 50 states. Thank you for making people aware. I dont think some people truely know how dangerous it can be. I know my brother didnt.

How dare you?! You had an episode where you put furries on there. You made us seem like sex crazed idiots who like to do nothing but have sex in costumes. >=[ This made me VERY upset, it is people/shows/media like this that makes the rest of the world think horrible things about us. I am a furry. Have been since I could remember. I will never have sex in a fur suit. I draw the art, I enjoy looking at the art also. I might want to dress up in costume for the conventions, but that does NOT mean that I will go and have sex while in this costume. If you do not reply to this in anyway... You will have lost a viewer... Actually many. My friends are VERY upset with you as well as I am. If you really value peoples thoughts as much as you say you do, then you will go back and tell people that is NOT how it is. And that we are normal people. Not that less than 3 percent of the furry fandom that DOES have sex in fursuits... A furry is a person that loves anthropodic animals. A trekky is someone who loves star wars. You should call them out and call them disgusting perverts also. I am very upset with this, and will no longer watch your show, or look at you the same way as I did before. >=[

Dear Tyra, Please do a show about innocent Native American political prisoner Leonard Peltier. The world deserves to see the injustices done to this man. He's been incarcerated over 30 years for a crime he never committed, for a crime the FBI has said they don't know what part, if any, he played in it. Please let your viewers know his story. Thank you.
