A labor of lash love?

Things that breed frustration: taxes, Mondays, traffic jams...and applying fake eyelashes. It seems no matter how much you practice, it always becomes a mess of sticky glue and crooked lashes. But luckily, there's a new saving grace out there: Eyelash extensions!

They take two hours to apply and last 2-6 weeks on average. Lots of salons perform the service -- try Novalash , Shavasana, or any local boutique salons in your area. But be warned: it can run you anywhere from $300 to $500. So, what's the verdict? Would you go to the trouble in the name of lovely lashes?

How are you. Over the years your bodies become walking autobiographies, telling friends and strangers alike of the minor and major stresses of your lives. I am from Sri and also now am reading in English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "Connected gant chart, he crocheted out as eventually a international film in a bombing when permanent lookouts had flames of shots in doing bills." :( Thanks in advance. Werner.

Magic Hands in Springfield, NJ , Ask for Lora, she is unbelievable!! Lora is certified with xtreme lashes and her work is better than those who are not certified with xtreme. Lora repaired the cheap lash extensions that I got at the nail salon which were cheaper and they swore they would look good, but they were horrible. Paying less only made me pay more to get them fixed! At least Lora was able to fix my bad lashes, now I'm going to have a lash party for all my bridesmaids. Visit her web site at www.makeupwithme.com.

First of all for those who had a horrible experience with individual eyelash extensions I know exactly how frustrating that is. I first had my lashes applied in a spa in Central NJ specializing in eyelash extensions and paid almost $750. I left the spa in tears, my eyes looked swollen and red and when I looked in the mirror I just stood there in shock my lashes looked like they had globs of glue on them and I was in pain. Long story short I was in the Mall one day and seen a girl with the most beautiful lashes and of corse asked her if they wore fake. She told me that she had individual extensions applied just like I had the only difference her lashes looked awesome and mine wore a disaster and she couldn't stop bragging about them and the girl that applied them. I ended up scheduling an appointment with Victoria who is a certified stylist with Xtreme Lashes in NJ and I've been going to her ever since. It's funny that when people approached me about my lashes now and I tell them that Victoria does them they all know who she is just no one want's to spread the word, they all want to keep her for them selves. She works by appointment only either out of her beautiful home or travels all over and sometimes it's hard to get an appointment for new clients but she will work with you and try to squeeze you in. What I love the most about her is that she is an insane perfectionist and she is very private and comes to my house every 2 wks I don't know what I would do with out her. For those who wore lucky and had a chance

Hello, does anyone out there know where I can get eyelash extensions in Central and/or in Northern New Jersey. I understand that there are salons out here that can do eyelash extensions that last 3 to 4 weeks for less than $50. If you know of any salons would you please forward that information I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. PC

Does anyone know of a good salon to get eyelash extensions in northern NJ?

anyone know a place in northern nj where i can get the flare extensions. they cost anywhere between $20 and $30. i have some on now but the way the guy did them, one side keeps falling down. any help would be appreciated.

Who doesnt love long full eyelashes from my hair to my lashes this is something i learned how to do on my own from watching people apply these lashes. At first I use to pay $25 every 2 weeks for the individual (flare strands) but now I learned how to do them myself and i love it. I have small eyes so it brings it out and plus I perform(I rap) so sometimes i get medium length for an extra dramatic look on stage.

Well i live in Trenton, Nj and to get your eyelashes done only cost $12.00 and lasts to 3 weeks . Also i do my own lashes and i learned this from youtube how to apply and the products u will need. There is no way im paying 300 - 500 dollars when i can do it my self for the price of 5.00

I recently got Eyelash extensions and there great. i got them done in Clairmount,Florida for $30. yes $30 thats 15pounds. In the uk they cost around 80pounds per eye. my eyelashes are amazing i dont have to worry about putting mascara on at all. i look amazing. I would def reconmend them.

I have tried lash extensions and they are great, but you do have to find the right salon/stylist to do them. Ken Kyle in the metro-Detroit area and anyone he has trained or that works in his shops is the bomb! Also Reese at Echelon II in Southfield. Never have I paid $300! Less than $50 around town. If you take care of them they should last a good 3 weeks. Also my sister turned me on to this mascara that I am totally addicted to. It's Kiss Me Mascara. To quote their website "It is a uniquely formulated mascara that forms tiny "tubes" around your lashes that will not smudge, run, clump, or flake and requires only water to remove". It sells for about $20-25 dollars and is so worth it. People think I am wearing extensions; a cheaper more practical way to beautify lashes. Though I have never had a bad experience with extensions I wouldn't recommend wearing them for an extended period of time, so ths works out great. Enjoy ladies!
