Trisha... girl be yourself. IM 17 AND IM BI AND MY PARENTS HATE IT. BUT I YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE AND YOU HAVE TO LIVE IT FOR YOURSELF. I WAS HIDE N FOR YEARS BUT I RELIZE THAT IM HAPPY BEING ME. MY MOM TELLS ME ALL THE TIME YOUR CONFUSED... ITS JUST A PHAZE. EVERYBODY HAVE THEIR OPINIONS BUT AS LONG AS YOUR HAPPY THATS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS.
ok here's the thing,, i seem to notice that there are some lesbian/gay couples that seem to take it personal when they get looked at. but i dont think they should. they shouldnt think that everyone that looks at them is judging them n sayin ignorant things. some are just looking because they've never seen a same gender couple,, i mean its like the odd couples that appeared on one of tyra's show ((love your show tyra, just thought i'd throw that out there)) they get looked at too or the odd couples that appeared on maury,, there are many interracial couples that also get stares,, so i mean its whatev. everyone seems to have haters n it should only make them stronger. you should love yourself enough not to let it bother you. im sure its easier said than done and i do apologize to those who took offense to this because im sure that its not easy to have many people around you trying to bring you down just for being yourselves but im just sayin that it makes sense to not care about those who are negative close-minded fools because they are not important. K =)

I have a question- and I don't mean to be rude- it's just something I have always wondered and I'm curious as to what the answer would be- and I figured it was just better to ask someone than to assume- but here it is... ( I hope I can make sense of this)
Sometimes in a same gender relationship there is one person who acts like their gender and the partner acts like the opposite sex- normally I have noticed this with women- there is one who acts and dresses more masculine and their partner is more feminine. But my question is- why doesn't the feminine lesbian just date a man? Like if she is attracted to a human who is masculine- then why not just date an actual guy?
I hope that made sense- but I'm just curious- like I said- I'm not trying to be mean- I know people can get offended easily- I'm just curious.
im 17 y and im bi. the only thing is that my parents and family dont know, they wont accept me, i think they have clue but i dont want to risk it, so i broke up with my girl and went back to date guys, but in the future i also wanna date girls, wat advice do u have for me?
Hey Tyra!
My name is Tony and I have been gay for as long as I can remember. I'm still a virgin and plan to keep it that way until I find the right guy. The only problem is that all the guys in my area (Mooresville, NC) only want sex. I'm so tired of hearing about it and it makes me feel that if I want a nice romantic relationship I'm going to have to force myself into going out with a girl. I'm so stressed over it because I don't have a great body at all and I'm 20. Is there any hope for me at all?

Hi Tyra, im bout to be 16 and its hard being gay. i dont like to let everyone know im gay only a few have figured it out but they are good friends and im glad that u inspire my every single day. and by the way i didnt really choose to by gay i guess i was just born that way Thanks for hearing me
Hey Tyra,
I love your show me and my bestfriend always watch it. I am a 19 year old gay guy who just doesnt know how to talk to my parents. I have already told them that i am gay but they seem to act as if i had never told them, and i just dont know how to tell them again.
Hey Tyra!
My girlfriend and I always get stared at and pointed at. It gets incredibly frustrating, more so for my partner because she not "girly" like girls are "suppose" to be. I try and brush it off but she gets so stressed. I wish people didn't have to be so ignorant. If they dont agree with it, i understand, but dont drag it on you know? I think you should do a show on gays and lesbians If you haven't already done so since New York is a huge gay community. I would really enjoy hearing about others who have the same issues as me and my partner, and to see how they cope with it as well.
Just an idea!
thanks,
trish
I think Tyra needs to have a show about lesbians. I believe that most people in America have a certain image they think of when they hear lesbian. Tyra needs to show America that we are all not the same as people think we look and act.
i am 14 years-old.in sacramento, california.and i belive i am a lesbian,i have know since i was little.but i came out to some friends and my mom and sis when i was in the 6th grade.but now im a sophmore in high school, and im very open about it and i have told most of my family.i'm glad you put this issue on your show only because its difficult for people to tell others.being afraid that people will not accept you.
your BIG fan

blah blah blah so what people are gay,lez or bi it's not our place to judge t's only God's place personal I don't agree with the marrige but It's only God's place to only have people repeat his word. So I don't have anything against anybody for there sex chose.
hey tyra
i am a 14 yearold girl and im bisexual ive always liked girls but i didnt start having feelings for guys untill i was about 11 and im out to my close friends and family but i guess the reason i havnt told anyone eles is cuz i dont really lyk everyone in my business but the ppl who i have told accept it when i told my mom she said ok so ur lyk tila tequlia.
Hey Tyra, I just want to begin saying congratulations in everything you have accomplished. I love watching your show and you just crack me up. I am 19 years of age going on 20 and I am Mexican. I had just recently told my parents that I am a lesbian. It was not easy but I am glad that I did. My sister likes women too, she too came out to my parents about 3 years ago. Looking at the way my family is with her is a good feeling, yet my mother refuses to know who mine and my sisters partner is. Like many people around the world they see homosexuality as “deviancy”. I believe that it is only deviant to those ppl because it is seen as “not normal”, I find myself the same as anyone else, I have the capacity of loving like anyone else. Although , religions collide with this subject I still believe that god loves everyone, he does not hate. It just a bit of a pull down that my mother is not supportive of me about my sexuality. Its hard enough already knowing there are others who are strangers to me who discriminate me for who I am. Anyways, I just wanted to state that I am happier than ever and I am glad that I realized that I love women…I also wanted to say that being gay was not my choice, is who I am.. And I was not born gay because its something that I realized on my own.. just thought to make that clear. I was just wondering Tyra if have or will soon air a show about the issues, culture and life about the gay community? I think it will help many understand the life that I and many live in the U.S….what you think about that?
Thanks Tyra,
Love ya girl yari!

Hey Tyra!
I love your show!
I am gay, but have never had a boyfriend because here by the Mexican border, somehow, guys are only looking for sex. Everyone who has been out of here says that the gays in the valley are too ignorant, and for the time I'm stuck here, that sucks!
But I'm sure lots of people just want sex, sex, and sex. not just here.
Anyway, Only in time, right?
Love ya!
Bye!

Hey Tyra,
i'm 13.i say that i'm bisexual because i'm attrackted to both guys and girls. people ask how i know that im bi. i havent done "it" with a guy nor a girl...and honestly,i think its impossible to loose your virgintiy to another female...
so i guess technically im not bi"sexual"
im not exactly sure what they call it.
i guess its called bicurious?
ive had about 2 girlfriends...
only one semiserious one and shes still my best friend...
