Some folks assume that GAy/Transgender,And Intersexed Kids and adults are "well heeled" When in fact Especially within the Trangender, and Intersexed Community, there remains a LOT of discrimination, and hatred left Even in Larger Cities like San Francisco, LA, Chicago.... Sad but True is an overlooked fact that our GBLTI Youth and adults need services to help them out of poverty and criminal behavior. Though under the Bush Administration I dont see this happening.... Ive been through that ever since 3rd or 4th grade. Ive been make fun the way i talk. I was born with speech problems. In elementary, i had a speech therapist (i think thats what you call them), cause i couldnt pronounce a word right, and i stutter a lot back in elementary, today the stuttering is still there but not as bad. I was happy cause she was helping, but i dont remember when, but she had left the school, i dont remember why. I was sad because, now i wouldnt had no one to help me wit my speech problems. I noticed i have trouble saying words with "th" like brother,mother,either. Or I dont remember when my guy friends started 2 make fun of me, the way i talk, it was either 3rd or 4th grade. Back in elementary, i spoked more spanish than english. After elementary, in mddle school, i havent been made fun of. Then 9th grade came, one day in world geography, we had a partner, we had to researsh some stuff, then read it out loud. Since my partner (which was a guy), didnt want to read, i started reading, and there were words i couldnt pronounce, and then my partner and his friend started crackin up, what made it worse that teacher couldnt hear me, so i had 2 keep repeating myself, and everytime i did, they start crackin up loud. The good thing, is that, the other students werent laughing, but they kept looking at me, im guessing to see what i would do. I havent felt so embarrased in my whole life, i wanted to crawl into a corner and cry, or put a brown bag over my head. Finally, when i felt like was bout to burst out in tears
