Tyra, Thank you so much for helping me to better understand teens who are transgendered and gay and lesbian teens. As a mother o three girls one whom is transgendered and came out to me 3 years ago...at first I thought she was just a lesbian and when I sat down to talk to her she explained to me that she was transgendered. I just told her that i loved her and and that would support her n matter wha her decisions and choices in life were. As her moter and a lesbian myself I never ha that type of understanding from my mother or many of y sisters. Being a lesbian was something that wasnt accepted. Tyra our sows have reallyhelped me and prepared me for many things with my child. You talking about how teens are treated my child was treated that way as well but ot only by th students by the teachers as well. Just o think that this type of thing still goes on today and with adults it's so sad. Tyra thanks again.
