Hello Tyra Banks! I am such a big fan of yours, your show has made me respect myself and make all the right decisions. No I am not a mom or a dad,but I have the biggest drive to be in school and make something out of myself. I want to be somebody so bad, and ultimatly say that I have helped another country. Right now I am currently looking for a way to pay for school. I have tried to apply for financial aid,and scholarships, our financial aid system is messed up and most of the time scholarships are based on financial need. According to financial need your parents can't make over a certain amount. Tho my parents do make good money and have good jobs, there are four kids, and so many bills and loans my parents are trying to pay off. According to financial aid if yor parents make to much you dont recieve financial aid. In my family there are four kids. Day to day my parents work so hard for me to go to school. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes Ms. Banks, my dad works so much overtime because he always wanted the best for his kids. In the upcoming year I do not know how I am going to pay for school. As a African American women I want to succeed and become a podiatrist. My ultimate dream is to become a podiatrist and help to provide health care services for not only those in my own community but also for others in foreign countries free of charge. It hurts me to see those in need of health care asnd they cannot recieve it because they can not afford it. Another one of my dreams is to fully fund a healthcare facility

Hi Tyra. I am contacting you because I enjoy watching your show. It moves me when talk show hosts are able to help a fan with meeting their favorite celebrity. I know you make dreams come true. I know you are a very busy woman, but I would like to be a guest on your show because my biggest dream is to meet Hugh Jackman. I am truly his biggest fan. I have all of his movies except for the ones that I cannot buy due to the fact that some of his movies are Australian and I live in Washington state. Mr. Jackman inspires me to finish my education and to help other people. Mr Jackman graduated with a major in journalism, and that is one of the careers that I would love to pursue. Mr. Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness are both involved in good causes such as Australia 2020, the Bone Marrow Donor Institute of Australia, and adoption campaigns. I am so grateful that he is one of the celebrities that cares about what is happening these days. I also want to be an actress, but I do not think that will happen because I don’t really look like I could be an actress and I cannot memorize lines! However, I would like to try and get into acting. I know that it is an extremely competitive job. Hugh Jackman is my all time favorite actor. I get excited every time I see him on a talk show or in a magazine. Hi Tyra! (its so strange that I feel like I'm writing one of my friends) I just wanted to let you that I was so happy to see Martina Mcbride on your show. I always laugh a little when I hear people who don't really know much about country music suddenly take a second and realize how good most of it really is. I love all music but I was raised by a country-lovin daddy and a rock-n-roll mama so country has always been a big part of my life. I just wanted to give you a little listening tip: Garth Brooks. He is such an amazing entertainer with music that is so full of soul. He is always the first voice I hear when I think of country music. I grew up with him on my radio and he was the first cd that my dad ever bought (that I ever had). Even though at the time I was going through my little rebel stage where I didn't want anything to do with my parents music, I still sat in my room playing his double live album and letting him sing me to sleep. I remember hoping that his song "Two of a Kind" would be the theme for my future husband and me. So look him up, google, download, go out and buy his music just as long as you take the time to listen to it, I promise it won't be a let down! His latest song, "More Than a Memory" is just awesome.

Hi Tyra. I'm glad you had a country music guest singer in your show today because it really opened my eyes to it. Country music isn't my preferred genre of music but ever since listening to Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" I started to like it just a bit. I guess it's because it's got a bit of pop in it, so I guess the only type of country songs I'll like are ones with other great genres mixed into it lol. But I want to say after you had Martina McBride in your show I went to Yahoo.com and watched her "Anyway" video and it was amazing, and truly inspiring. And it reminded me of a poem my favorite teacher told me about, It's called "Anyway" just like the song, and it's so good I just wanted to tell you about it. It was written by 19-year-old Kent Keith in a motivation booklet for high school counselors that was published while he was a student at Harvard in 1966.
