Hi Tyra! My name is ShaNiece Pyles. I am a huge fan of yours and I admire you SO much! I am 16-years-old and I am a junior at a coed Catholic High School in Wichita, Ks, which is also my home town. I have recently been involved with modeling thruogh Barbizon USA and have completed my training about a month ago. The classes I took each month thruough Barbizon training have greatly improved my sense of modeling and has even had an impact of my every day look. These classes also helped me realize that modeling is my thing, it is finally something I feel is meant for me to do. I am writing you because I could greatly use your help. About a month or so ago, I auditioned for a huge modeling competition in Irving, Texas sponsored by Barbizon USA. At this competition there will be agents from everywhere, many opportunities to be signed, and also a chance to win scholarship prizes for college. I feel going to this competition would be one of the BEST things that could ever happen to me, I feel it is where I belong. I am writing you because this competition is fairly expensive from the cost of registration to simply getting down there is amounting to $1,200 or more and my mom cannot afford it right now. My mother is a single parent getting pratically no support from my father and works her hardest to fulfill all my needs, and when she can, my wants. In spite of her not being able to afford this trip, she is doing everything in her power to come up with the money, but it seems to not be enough. She is sort of like your mother, sees the potential in me and is

Dear Tyra, i was trying to send this to you in a message because i didn't want my business out there for the world to see. however, i cant figure out how to do that so im leaving you a comment and i hope it gets to you. i watch your show everyday and its inspirational to me. recently ive tried to sign up for the gift give away, but i can never complete it all the way, all i wanted to do is get some amazing gifts for my mom that i know she would love. it would make this holiday the best if i could be able to give her just a couple things. i know money is tight for everyone but a couple weeks ago my father was laid off work so we dont really have any extra cash to buy gifts. also im having to go back in for knee surgery, its my second one within the year. i would just love to be able to give her some amazing things for once! shes the best mom out there and is the only one bringing in an income, i just want to rewarded her. if you could by any means help me out i would be more then greatful thank you. jennifer k.

Ohkay soo pretty much i was ssooo interested in this bleaching episode . But i`am a white girl of 14 years of age . You women are feeling kinda pitty for these girls when really it`s just the same for us . White women are always trying to be darker . We think it`s hotter , more clean cut . We go to tanning booths .we buy spray on tan . We all know going to tanning booths is a risk to your health to . So again i think that episode was very blunt and out there . But i think you should do one on white women too . because we go through great risk too . JUST to look darker . btw ; TYRA I LOVE YOU

Hi Tyra, I was watching one of your shows about black women bleaching there skin to be lighter. However, since its a new season and different arrangements I think you should have a show about white women wanting to be darker since you already did a show about black women wanting to be lighter. I think it would be interesting to see the difference.

Greeting. Music is essentially useless, as life is. I am from Ukraine and too bad know English, tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "Skins bring an stunning boys department and a organization of pro-life streetcars - in 2008 spilling dizzee rascal and lesley garrett." THX :D, Kissa.

Tyra, I saw your show on "Black Hair Care". It was about how most Black American women are afraid or dislike displaying their real hair for fear of being rejected by society. I, as a Black man, felt so ashamed that our women did not change their hair because they wanted to look beautiful, but hated this characteristic of themselves. One Black woman even declared that she wouldn't date a Black man because she didn't want her daughter's hair coming our nappy. What we didn't see is how these women felt about their African American and mixed race son's head. It was really geared towards their daughters. What was really tragic is the interview with the young girls who thought the natural Black dolls were ugly. I'm wondering if all or most Black girls and women believe that they're ugly, and any "Anglo-nization" of their appearance would approve of their image.

hey Tyra : ] This is Andrea. All of your work you do, weather its ANTM or your talk show, i admire watching you. Tyra, you are a role model to me and I look up to you. You have inspired me to go into the world and see what I can do with myself. I found out that I have a huge passion for modeling and fashion. So this year I decided to acctually chace my dream rather than only dreaming. I now have an agency and I have been going here to there to see if someone wants me for their show or commercial. Unfortunatly I have been told no many times. When I think to myself I always wonder if thats the way things are going to be....me just being turned down. But I think of all that you went through before you began modeling and such. You taught me that you don't have to be great to start, but that you have to start to be great. Just recently I went on a go-see to see if I could be on the cover of a magazine coming out in January 2010. This magazine is called "Atlanta Girl Magazine." Over 200 girls went for this open call. After I went and met the editors, I put my trust in God. Just yesterday I recieved an e-mail from my agency saying I am one of the finalists to appear on the cover of Atlanta Girl Magazine. I still can't believe it. Me? Out of 200 and more girls, I, was someone who had potential to continue on. At the call back the editors told us that this magazine was going to be something better and beyond. A magazine with style that gives out positive messages to girls who
